This cool little gadgets saves me using a spoon. Easy to scoop an use; however, expect some particles to linger on the edges and get into your cup. The tea gets stuck as you are closing or sticks on the outside. Unavoidable, especially if the strainer is wet. It's fine since they settle to the bottom of the cup. I think this device looks cool and you get 2 in case it rusts. I suggest dry out completely after each use. I love it.

It’s a nice option, but not the holy grail of tea strainers. A few listers get loose due because it’s not always flush when I close it.

Loved the product itself. Unfortunately, the box was entirely smashed when it arrived. Thankfully the product (2 of the strainers) were unharmed. I had to tape the box back together to wrap for a Christmas gift.

I enjoy using these tea strainers but a few “leaves” still float around in the tea so I never finish the full cup unless I strain a second time, dirtying another utensil. They are easy to use and I do so daily. I would certainly buy again and would give as a gift.

Honestly, I bought Teavana tea leaves from a vendor called Tealeavz after I received my strainors. Anyway, I loaded up the strainer and heated up some water to boiling in the microwave. I then took my clear class tea cup and dangled the strainer into the steaming water and was amazed at how the darned thing actually went to work brewing a gorgeous cup of tea. Not only that........I never knew tea could taste like something besides bland hot water. I now find that I'm only drinking one cup of coffee in the morning which is usual, but when I want another cup of something, I'm making a cup a tea, dearie. I love me a nice cup with a scone or a pecan knot. Simply devine.

I thought this would be a practical item but it’s really hard to pack the tea into the unit. The opening is so small.
