Q: Do these write on wet surfaces ?

This is an oil based product, so it should be okay if the surface gets wet after the paint dries.

Q: Would this work on a volleyball? Planning to color the panels on a volleyball to easily distinguish my volleyball from others.

The white ones write on about everything. It will do a good job making stripes. The tip is too narrow to actually “paint” a panel in a practical manner. They do sell this with wider tips.

Q: Can you put several coats on plastic; how long between coats?

In my experience, even after the first coat dries, the next coat will somewhat liquefy the original coat. This makes building up the paint somewhat difficult. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but it’s not like modeling paint. It can look blotchy.

Q: If you write something on canvas with these, is it precise or does it sort of bleed outward on the canvas/fabric?

I'm guessing it would bleed a bit, especially on canvas, since it is liquid
