First, my daughter and I are long-time MCT-users, since it was recommended shortly after her mitochondrial diagnosis, ten years ago. We did very well with MCT oil, after slowly increasing dosage over a month+, , but for cost purposes, switched off to coconut oil for a year or so.... provably 2014-ish. Switching back, all but one of the MCT oil brands gave us both migraines. Turns out MCT oil is a common migraine trigger. But... why did the one brand not cause it? Well, now I’m convinced its about quality. The cheaper the MCT oil, the more severe the migraine. I was very worried about spending the money on this brand, since it was a total gamble, but... NO MIGRAINES! I think C12’s and C10’s just aren’t so good for us mito-gals.I got fed up with Bulletproof when I saw the 31% price increase between December and January. Before that, I was seriously peeved at having to order Brain Octane Oil in a plastic bottle, not to mention, a horrible bottle that leaked everywhere, since I’d learned about the extent to which toxins leach into anything we consume... from a Bulletproof podcast. I decided to look for a C8 oil with a price point closer to the $34.92 I’d paid for Bulletproof in December, to avoid paying the $45.75 they’ve been wanting for a 32 oz bottle of Brain Octane Oil, since.Bonus finding this... cheaper, AND IN A GLASS BOTTLE!!!!! Pump is definitely not perfect, but before you slam the bottle, bounce over and spend some time with the reviews for Brain Octane Oil, and you just might agree with my feeling that Kiss My Keto is doing everything they can to improve upon the misery that is the Brain Octane packaging.In regard to the 3” too long pump tubing... I love it. Sure, you have the option to cut to just the right length for you... do you want to wedge the straw into a corner, so you can tip the bottle and pump every last bit out? Or would you prefer to cut the straw a bit shorter, and leave a few drops behind when the bottle is finished? I say... slowly bend your dangled straw. Curl it as much as possible, to avoid kinking it... and odds are it will be right where it needs to be to pump every possible drop from the bottle.The bottle, yep. It’s glass, and as mentioned before, I majorly applaud them for that. But, its breakable, as glass has a tendency to be. It’s not a kombucha quality glass, by any means, but they could also get away with using much cheaper, thinner glass. I've experienced a few mishaps due to Amazon’s packaging when they fulfill the orders. Not fun... but the fault lies with Amazon, and Amazon is always good at making it right.... but of course they dont come over to clean up the mess you deal with. Guess Ive concluded its an occasional risk factor that is far-outweighed by benefits.What was I saying? Yeah, Need some Kiss My Keto now, so I can stay on track and focus, right? That’s gonna take some getting used to, having said “Need My Brain Octane” countless times. Since I know the alternative, this is a wonderful product, with founders who seem like they will improve with time.

Update - Why cant I get pure C8 now? Why only the downgraded C8&C10 blend?C8 oil is great stuff! This company is trying really hard to make this the perfect experience. They include a pump, which is great since "other company's" C8 MCT oil would spill down the sides and sink into the marble counters and cause oil stains. (Marble counters aren't fun to take care of.)When this bottle arrives in its shipping packaging it is also in a smaller box inside. In the smaller box, it is also in a shrink wrapper now. I just set the box aside for a few weeks, then when I am ready to use it, I wash the outside of the bottle with dish soap and it is no longer slippery. C8 oil is very thin and will evaporate on its own, but I am nit-picky so I wash it.Health... this stuff helped heal my scalp and battle some weird fungal infection which the doctor had lazily designated cradle cap, which I had been fighting against ever since I dunked my head in the hot tub at the local gym (cesspool).This also helped me with brain health.I put 10 pumps into my coffee, then blend it. (That's not my whole recipe.) (10 squirts on my pump is 1.5 oz. You will have to measure to know how much your pump dispenses.)

There are a lot of people giving this product a low rating who absolutely do not know what they are talking about. SMH!It doesn't matter whether the oil comes from coconuts or palm kernels the end product is identical!There are two processes used to extract C8 and C10. Fractionation (coconuts) and esoterification (palm kernels). Regardless, as long as the objective is to get a blend of C8 and C10 fatty acids, it doesn't matter where they came from. The end product has NO Coconut oil or Palm oil left in it. What you don't want is C12 in your oil and this product doesn't have any in it.With that said this is the best MCT oil I have used. I'm going on my fifth bottle. My metabolism still increases, I'm still lean and it works as it should. Don't let the negative reviews deter you from purhasing this brand.It is of the highest quality. If anyone wants to dispute whether coconuts or palm kernels make a difference in quality go ahead. I've got ten studies that prove it makes no difference.I have tried several brands and this one works the best for me. The only issue is the pump. It will leak. So I don't bother using it. Its just as fast to measure by hand.The other plus is this MCT oil comes in a glass bottle which is much healthier for consumption. I highly recommend this brand!

Excellent product! Glass bottle AND a pump! The pump is substantial too - it will shoot oil right past your cup if you aren’t careful, lol. Finally someone has solved the dreaded dripping bottle issue that has plagued all of us that use MCT oil and also managed to put it in a glass bottle at a price that less than competitors! Be still my heart! Oh! It’s also coconut oil only, no palm oil. I cannot think of any cons at all.Updated a few bottles later: I have used this over a year now and I have had issues with some of the pumps: some work fine, some fail (with the pooling at the top of pump another review talks about) either right off the bat or when the bottle is 2/3 empty, so no rhyme or reason as to why they fail. I wrote to the company and they did send out more pumps, but still had problems with them, as well as ones that came with new bottles I’d gotten. I like the glass bottle, however this pump issue is a big problem. If you don’t catch that it’s happening, it makes an awful mess and wastes product. I will try one more bottle. But if this isn’t resolved by the company, it will likely be my last.
