"Booked is a Good Approach For Small Business Owners"
I took about 1hour & half to read Booked. Its about 95 pages long. Simple to understand the approach to be taken. However, I felt it took to long to get started. Yes, it needed to be said how you got to the point of writing this book but it was a little lengthy.Getting off the cash flow roller-coaster can be hard. But I feel the 5 platform steps that Josh lays out is a practical approach. It will take work on your part as a business owner. Its like you do you get type approach. In Booked Josh lays out a clear plan that you can do easily with or without his help. As he does coach/teach for a living in this which is why the book was written.Generating leads can be a hard thing to do. Having two businesses myself and both different from each other. Word of mouth only goes so far!So using these platforms could be a very good way to boost business leads.I don't want to say to much as to what the platforms are in the book because i feel each person needs to form their own opinion. I think along with the information I've received from Josh Turner in Booked, and along with my Marketing Management Degree that this could bring my businesses & life to the next level. Thank you for the opportunity to read this book without costing me anything in return Josh.

Finally, someone with a clear, specific, "paint by numbers" approach to using Linked In effectively. He covers using Facebook too for B2C businesses, though for the market I serve Linked In is the venue, and understanding how to tame that beast has been elusive until this book.Broken down into manageable bite-sized chunks this book lays out a comprehensive game plan that actually looks like it can be implemented with under an hour a day of steady effort guided step by step, chapter by chapter, with this gem of insight - Plus, Bonus - there are additional online resources & videos included to further flesh out some of more nuanced elements of the program.It is said a journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step;This book goes beyond that first step and walks with you through to journey's end.

Do You Want to Generate Income, Grow Your Business and Stay Booked?
I love the clear and concise way Josh Turner brings together the valuable information necessary for any entrepreneur wanting to attract and serve their ideal client. He gives great tips and tools to advance, no matter where you are, in your business today. His approach and delivery are genuine and sincere. I enjoy this book very much and I recommend it to everyone, if you want to grow your business, generate consistent income and stayed booked!

You Too Can Do This
If you are a LinkedIn or Facebook user, chances are probably pretty good that you are a member of one or more groups on either or both of these social media platforms. This book is about how you can use a LinkedIn or Facebook group to position yourself as an authority and leader in your field.The author calls these groups Authority Leadership Platforms. You use the groups you create as a means to generate prospects/leads you can then approach for booking a sales presentation appointment with you. The book also describes multiple messaging campaigns that can be used in conjunction with the group, as well as a separate email campaign blueprint.I found the book to be both valuable and an engaging, easy read.If you are looking for or in need of a system that can perpetually generate leads and prospects for you, the Booked system is certainly worth your review and study.

a good read for any business owner who wants to keep from having a feast and famine existence.
I am in network marketing and was hoping for and received help in having a solid foundation for my business. The book does start off a little slow but if Josh did not tell you where he had been career-wise and why he created the booked system, it would be hard to understand the method to his system. I have recommended the e-book to all of the teams within my company and I feel this is a good read for any business owner who wants to keep from having a feast and famine existence.

How To Contact LinkedIn And Facebook Sales Prospects To Sell Your Services.
As a few have pointed out, the first 35 pages or so are devoted to the subject of the author's going from job to job, business to business. And the book is promotional, meaning that it has an offer repeated several times in the book, and at the end.But there is good news, and the reason I gave it four stars. You get a blueprint, light on details, about how to prospect using LinkedIn, Facebook, or E-mail. If you sell to business owners, it's LinkedIn...if you sell to consumers, it's Facebook.And you get templates for what to say and the order to say it in. You get several techniques to find qualified customers...but not much time is devoted to each method. As a book on how to contact these prospects to sell your services, I was satisfied.

the importance of the type of page best suited for your business and why
it is very obvious that Josh is very successful at what he does in his own business; and in writing this book, tries to convince its readers that the system works based on his experience. I do think some more time should be given, along with examples, to the initial set-up of the page, the importance of the type of page best suited for your business and why. ( personal or business) As a novice trying to get some kind of knowledge and understanding on a social media market that's way over my head, I thought the book was easy to read, directions were easy to follow and the importance that without you doing the work by following his instructions; the job would not be easy. It certainly opened up my eyes on the Hugh impact social media/ LinkedIn makes ON your business if done the right way and even more; the importance of Social media IN your business. I do agree that too much time was spent in the beginning about his "beginnings" and it got boring after a while.

Dont waste your money - this is just a sales letter!
This book was incredibly disappointing. It is just a sales letter with no real, useful information. Instead, it just has lots of pointers to an expensive training online course by the author which supposedly does have the helpful information in it. I don't necessarily have a problem with sales letters, I just don't want to pay for them when I am expecting to be buying a how to book that has useful information in it.

A helpful, practical approach to growing a business.
It's not the most groundbreaking book you'll ever read, it needs you to put in hard work, and it feels like you're constantly being sold an idea that's meant to turn you into a guaranteed gazillionaire...but growing a business is generally speaking not that groundbreaking an idea, is definitely a lot of hard work, and has the chance of making you wealthy - so it's hard to fault from that side of things. It's incredibly easy to put into practice and it's easy to read, so you could do a lot worse than giving it a read.

I was pretty disappointed in this book
I was pretty disappointed in this book. The first 1/3rd of the book is Josh's backstory and interesting though that is if I wanted to know that much detail I'd asked him to write an autobiography. If you subtract that from what is supposed to be a business book it's pretty thin.There were one or two nuggets of information but a lot fewer than I would expect. I also felt that I was treated as sales fodder as I was regularly exhorted to join his lead generation programme which put me off the book quite a bit.If you're completely ignorant of LinkedIn then it's a reasonable starter text, but if you want more than that this is not the book for you.

Clear, Simple, Effective
To begin with, I am a fan of Josh Turner. This latest book is compact. It contains much which is practical, in plain language and with challenging points. Well worth the money. I've already given copies to others, and recommended it to many more.

A good read
I found this to be a sensible and pragmatic approach to the hardest task in any business. Finding a constant stream of qualified prospects ready and willing to meet with you is a constant challenge. Josh provides the building blocks and the confidence to enable you to construct a lead generation machine that will catapult you towards success.Thanks Josh.
