We live in Michigan where the winters are COLD! Being retired, I'm home most of the day and being retired, I don't need to dress up and wear shoes. The alternative? Slippers... but to be honest, I hate slippers... after you wear them for a while, the lining gets "mushed" down and they begin to smell funky... did you ever look inside a pair of slippers after a couple of months?? Gross... So, I looked for alternatives... and these slipper socks are EXCELLENT!! They're warm, they're comfortable and they're washable! The non skid on the bottom is really "Non Skid" - we have hardwood floors and these don't slip at all (as opposed to thick socks which have caused several whoopsies and spilled coffee...) at all. I would highly recommend these for anyone who's experiencing "cold feet". They do the job and are very affordable. Well done Pembrook!!Winter Update: It's November and we're in Michigan so I can now update this review! These socks are AMAZING!! So much so that my wife, after wearing her slippers around decided to try my slipper socks and we are now matching!! They are incredibly warm and comfortable and we wear them all day long!We have washed these several times now and the non skid bottoms are still functional!The only thing that I didn't like is that these are "ankle" length socks and they leave some bare leg between my ankles and the bottom of my pants, but I solved that problem by first putting on a pair of my "Workout" tube socks... then put on the slipper socks over those. Now my feet are REALLY warm and that's a good thing. As I write this, it's 19 degrees outside but my feet are toasty...Again... I highly recommend these!!

These are the most WONDERFUL socks! I ordered some for my husband and I. They were shipped quickly and in nice packaging. They are SO soft and stretchy, but also just the right warmth. The grip on the bottoms are perfect and survived the wash without any problem. Our teenage son was jealous of our new fluffy socks! He orginally said he didnt want any, but when he felt them he 'stole' a pair of ours, so we bought him a set as well which were also shipped quickly with no problems. We literally have not gone without using a pair of these socks since we bought them! These have become a new winter staple in our house and will definitely buy them again! Thank you for such a great product!

These are really and truly non skid/slip socks! I was quite disappointed as they are a bit large/roomy for my narrow feet. They move around too much, and are quite annoying and non functional for me because of that. But my husband loves them! They fit him as socks should. He has no problems with them, so they work perfectly for him. I am quite jealous. Other "non slip" socks I have are not nearly as good. These are just not for narrow feet, I guess... It'd be nice if they made them in smaller sizes, too.

Very soft and fuzzy with gripping bottoms. They are a little loose which is fantastic for comfort, but causes them to bunch up and roll the grips from their desired spot on smaller feet/ankles.

I had searched for "hospital socks" and these popped up; looking for the same socks I was sent home with from the hospital years ago as those were the softest non-slip "house" socks ever. These socks were perfect and what I remembered those hospital socks being. So I bought some for myself before winter. Knowing several people in my family who would also love them, I bought this 6 pack to give away as gifts. They get worn everyday and everyone loves them. They are extremely soft and can be worn all day without discomfort or making your feet sweaty. They breath and are non-slip. I don't know how long they'll last, but as with all wearable items, I'm sure they'll wear out eventually. But when they do, I'll be buying myself the 6 pack next.

These socks are very soft, no doubt! The problem is they pick up anything on the floor and it sticks to the socks. Even washing the socks doesn't always removed the items; seeds, wood splinters, paper, styrofoam, whatever.

They are comfy and warm. The non-skid patches on the foot are great for kids, can make some sticky noise when walking.
