Actually grew quick and healthy! I recommend these!
I actually put in for a return because of the amount of seeds i got for the price and I've had issues with seeds in the past from here but these wear not the case, I cut a tip of each seed and soaked them for 48hours and in that time they wear already sprouting I did about 10 seeds and 8 of them grew one passed away on its own I have 3 beautiful healthy little plants I would have more but I have a toddler that was curious about them and wanted to play with them and even being all dumped out of the containers one of my 3 lived through it (2 she didn't dump out so my plants that parishes wear not a seed error it was a toddler wich is to be expected) these are very viable seeds and I recommend this purchase.

Only one seed tried to grow
I try to use various ways of starting my seeds so I'll know what works best. Only one of my little trees tried to grow. It was in a starter flat with good soil and proper water but just didn't make it.

Enjoyable experience
I soaked and planted these seeds starting on the 5th and today is the 9th and almost all have germinated. What a fun experience it is to see the progress so far.

No directions?
I was excited that my Alicia bonsai seeds arrived today. However, it did not come with any directions. I know, seeds....plant.....grow but as stated in another review they notched the seeds, soaked, planted. As it's not your average plant and little step by step instruction would have been nice.

Follow the proper steps and they work
Hi all, if you plan on getting some seedlings for the silk mimosa these are great. Mimosa trees are probably the easiest to grow from seeds and they do grow fast. However I didn’t expect these seeds to do as well as they have. There are a few steps you have to follow to get any dried seed to sprout. So this is what I did and there are pictures above (each picture is a day apart except the last two) the first thing I did was inspect each seed. I actually reserved 23 seeds but I'm not sure the two small ones will do anything. We will see. All the seeds were light in color and hard. Is the seed is soft it is probably roting. I took a small knife, you can also use a nail file, and scratched the surface on both ends of all the seeds. I then placed each seed in the jar of room temperature water. I let them soak for 24 hours in area with our much light. By the end of the 24 hours two seeds had already begun to sprout. I decided to leave them with the rest either way. After the 24 hours had passed I dumped out almost all the water from the jar. I left just enough to create condensation. I expected to need to leave them in the jar for at least a week or two. However, when I checked on them the next day 13 of the 23 had already sprouted, so I got my little starter nursery and put damp soil in I placed each seed in a spot and put a thin layer of soil on top, then I gave each one some water. The seedlings will be staying in my car for the next few weeks until I can set up a spot for them in the house with a grow light. They grow best at 70 degrees farenhight, so I will see how they do.

So enjoyable.
I've been very excited with the growth of my seedlings. I only started 7 seeds and 6 germinated. 4 have grown very well. 2 that are together in a different container have not done as well but they are growing much slower. SO FAR SO GOOD. It's great fun. It is now December. I have kept 4 seeds that did great and passed some others to friends due to space. They are doing wonderful and I continue to enjoy careing for them. I will try to get pictures soon. This is great enjoyment. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who is mostly homebound. It is a wonderful hobby. In the spring I plan to start a different Bonsi from seed. Sad news I was gone for 4 weeks due ti surgery and rehab. I forgot to ask someone to water plants and all but one diedIt's July now and I would love to start some new seedlings. The one survivor is doing FINE.

Not a single seed grew
I planted all of these seeds and watered them carefully following the recommendations. Not a single tree grew. So upsetting.
