Great gloves. I'm a mom with small hands so my 9 year old and I can share these. We love the protection they provide as we work on whittling or other projects. Definitely comfortable with a good grip. Has a bit of stretch/give.

Even the best cooks can cut themselves accidentally, and with my recent purchase of the most bloodthirsty piece of equipment in any kitchen anywhere (a mandoline), I set out to see if there were gloves I could wear to protect my fingers.I found NoCry. According to their sizing charts, I was disappointed to see that they would be loose on me- it's worse to wear loose gloves that can catch in a mandoline blade, than no gloves at all. And then I noticed that they make two children's sizes! Yay! My small hands have an option too! My hands are 8cm across the palm, and 7.5cm long on the middle finger. Looking at the NoCry chart, that would put me at the small end of the XS and the large end of the XXS, so wanting something tight that wouldn't catch in the mandoline, I decided to go with the XXS. Oops. My palm fit okay, but the middle finger of the glove was 6cm long and wouldn't stretch, so the fingers didn't go all the way in. I immediately contacted NoCry about it, and they sent out a replacement XS pair so fast it made my head spin!They fit perfectly, and I made another batch of sliced garden vegetables to go in my dehydrator. While I understand that the gloves could still catch in the blade, or even get damaged, it has made me 200% more confident while using the mandoline. I used to waste so much of the vegetables because the slider wouldn't hold them properly and I didn't dare get very close to the blade. Happy customer here!

My grandson recently likes to carve wood and whittle. He’s eight years old, so the gloves were a little big, but he wears them. He will grow into them.

Great concept, and may work well for protection but we have not been able to properly use them as they were too big for my 5 year olds hands.
