Hard Crystal Case for 4GB 8GB Microsoft Zune - Clear

I bought this case when I cracked the glass on my Zune to prevent further damage. It does the job it was intended to do: protect the Zune. It is hard to get to the hold button, but if you have a pen handy, it does the trick. It comes with a clip and lanyard which are also useful. The only cons I can see are the hold issue and the fact that the case itself will scratch. But take it from someone who learned the hard way: The Zune glass will crack unless you hardly move it. A hard case is worth the investment.

Pro:-inexpensive-fits zune-protects from scratchescons:-very poorly constructed. This is flimsy plastic that flexes if you press it even slightly hard. It makes the zune look and feel cheap.-button access. You can easily access the pad and front buttons, but if you want to lock the device, you'll need a pencil or something to reach the switch.These two cons were killers for me. First the asthetic feel is diminished, and then the functionality is shot. I could live with it feeling flimsy and cheap, but I use the lock feature all the time. When I put my zune in my pocket, I want to be able to lock the buttons so it doesn't change songs on me just because I bump it the wrong way. This case makes that impossible.If you want an inexpensive case that will protect it from scratches/dropping and aren't concerned with the feel of the device or the lock feature, I'd say go ahead and buy it. Otherwise I'd invest another 10 bucks and get something a little more functional.

It fit my zune pretty good. But you have to have a tooth pick or something to use the lock/unlock switch on top to the player because it too thick to get your finger to it. And it wont fit into my dock with the case on,.but the normal cable fits with no problem. Some how the belt bracket unscrewed the first night i used the case at work and fell on the concrete floor. The case popped open, but my player was unharmed. Still trying to figure out how it unscrew itself. For the price though, I'm satisfied with it so far.

Overall, this is a handy, inexpensive case to protect your Zune. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the hold switch is virtually unaccessible with the case on. That means that if I stick the device in my pocket or bag any contact on the touch pad will turn it on. All the other buttons/plugs are easily accessed, though.

This case does a very good job at protecting your zune, but once you put it on, it is nearly impossible to get off. Also within a few days of owning it, the entire case has become scuffed up for seemingly no reason (I carried my zune unprotected the same way for a month and it is still in flawless condition). The case makes buttons difficult to access and finally, the belt clip is completely worthless and broke the first day. This case is good for someone who only uses their zune occasionally and doesn't want it to get damaged, but if you want to use it for the gym or carry it around with you like most people with mini's do, then buy a better case.

The case if made very durable, albeit very hard to remove if you need to. In the month or so I've had it, probably at least 20 or 30 scratched made it way to the case - something that would have otherwise visually ruined my actual Zune. I would highly recommend this if you have a 4 or 8gb Zune that you want to keep it looking sharp even if you carry it in your pockets with things like keys, cell phone, lighters, etc - like me

Pretty decent for the price. However, with the case on, you cannot use the provided lanyard and it is very difficult to slide the hold button, but it does provide some protection for the Zune, which is why I bought it.

This is a priety good case ,except it does not snap in one place . I did not think I would find a case for this model Zune .
