Fat Daddio's PSQ-882 Anodized Aluminum Square Cake Pan, 8 x 2 Inch

Love these Fat Daddio cake pans—I had 3 8” round pans in the same material and after many cakes baked in them, they still look like new. I was tired of burning the bottoms of baked goods in my Pyrex pans, so I bought an aluminum one. Can’t wait to bake a lasagna or a pan of brownies in this pan.

Truly my favorite brand when it comes to my bakeware products. Over the past few years, I have been replacing old baking pans with all of their products. I know that they're a little bit more pricey, but you're paying for quality and performance for sure. They are consistently amazing, and nothing but! My cakes &/or other baked goods always bake evenly and they don't burn. Also, all of my fat daddy-o's pans look brand-new, even the ones I've had for years and used countless times. They're just a super solid product. Definitely something to bite the bullet and purchase if you are into baking!

My review from previous purchases. These are still the best pans I have ever purchased. Came to these Fat Daddio pans late in my life. They are well made, sturdy, have a great rim for holding on to. This is the 6th pan I have purchased. They conduct heat well, heat evenly, release baked and cooked on food readily, are easy to clean, sometimes with just a little soaking. Just great pans. And they come in a huge number of sizes and shapes (a few less during the pandemic). I use mine in a toaster oven, as that is what I have. And they are great. Even my pies finally no longer have a soggy bottom! I use them for both sweet and savory dishes interchangeably. There is no coating on these pans, I use baking soda and Dawn dish soap paste on the after a gentle scrubbing with my stainless steel scrubber. The soda/soap paste gets them very clean, although there is a slight amount of staining no matter what I do. Stains do not affect cooking or flavor that I have noted. If I had more budget I would buy a couple more sizes.

Seems fragile. But it works for my purposes, I use it as a mold for making american cheese. Cleans up easy and is the perfect size for a burger slice. Don't put it in the dishwasher. I always clean it by hand.

Fat Daddio's has such a high quality product! If you are a professional, or plan on using your pans more than a time or two you want to go with Fat Daddio's! I will never buy Wilton again. So you may want to know what makes Fat Daddio's better in my opinion, so here are a few: First, the pans are strong. They don't dent or scratch, which is such a huge bonus when you're using your pans repeatedly or have limited space for storing your pans. Second, have you ever noticed that when you go to store your Wilton pans, the top one slides nicely into the second one of the same size? So convenient for storage-- so awful for professional decorating! The fact that they fit inside each other shows that they are tapered. Simply said, the rim is wider than the base. While it may seem like an inconsequential difference, just try coating your cake in buttercream. It's takes more time and frosting to hide those thicker spots. Getting a level surface is so easy with Fat Daddio's Pans! The perfectly straight sides of your cake make it so easy to crumb coat and give a beautiful finish when covered in fondant. Last, have you checked out the corners on this pan? They are square! Not rounded, but square. It gives your square cakes a far more professional appearance and beautiful clean lines. I'm such a fan :) On top of all that, quality doesn't often come cheap, but these pans are very reasonably priced.

Already own Fat Daddios 8" cake pans. Love those so selected the 8 x 8 pan as well. Excellent pan. Well made and heavy duty just like the previously purchased pans.

I love it!!! I like to bake small batches to try different recipes.
