Fat Daddio'sPSQ-882 Anodized Aluminum Square Cake Pan, 8 x 2 Inch

Needed an extra deep pan to make a brownie bottomed ice cream cake for July 4th. Opted for the 4”x10”x10” square pan. This pan fit a layer of brownie, two layers of ice cream sandwiches, and a fluffy cream frosting on top. I had 3/4 of an inch left on top. I own many Fat Daddio pans and am happy with the quality and performance. Sharp metal knives and servers can scratch the surface, so use caution.

First bake was a Taiwanese Castella Cake and it worked outstanding. Thank you

This pan has just the depth I was looking for in order to properly bake and decorate my gourmet brownies. The brownies baked perfectly in this pan.

Where have these pans been all my life? No rusting, sturdy, rolled edges, and perfect for any kind of baking. I threw out all my old steel pans and have rebought them as Fat Daddio Aluminum pans instead

I bought specifically for an entremet I make that is 3" tall and won't fit in other pans. I tried silicon but that was just too flimsy. My entremet is not baked in this pan, it's assembled cold and put in the freezer to set. I thought I needed plastic or parchment, each of which was a real pain to set in the pan and then add the layers. But I'm thinking next time to try bare and see if I can unmold okay by immersing in some hot water for just a bit. Anyway, nice heavy duty pan that works great for my entremet and should have other uses as well. This sucker can pass down for several generations too.

Very good quality of material. The pan is exactly what I was looking for my chocolate cinnamon rolls.

The media could not be loaded.  We wanted to find a 7 inch deep square pan to fit inside our air fryer. We dislike cleaning the air fryer basket since it is bulky and can never get it to be completely clean. We figured putting a pan would solve our cleaning problem. We like the deepness of the pan for preventing oil splatter. It fits inside our air fryer basket perfectly. The pan is easy to clean. I did not give this 4 stars only because I noticed minor scratches around the pan. The pan came in a sealed plastic bag so I don’t believe it was used. Maybe the manufacturer scratched it while handling it. Who knows. The minor scratches did not deter us from keeping the product.

Best pans ever! I will be purchasing more.

Well designed pan but I find it a bit shallow if I want to make bread with it sometimes. But for brownies and cakes it's perfect. Eg 3 inch and above in ht

It's light in weight, cleans easily, has handles to make it easier to pick up out of the oven. I bought 2 the same size & the only complaint is that the two pans don't nest.
