If there’s a tool that is a must have for installing side rails, this is it! It’s like they thought of everything from how the slider clamps onto the tool, the holes and notches in certain places to allow screws to be installed, the markings on the sides of the tool to measure. This tool saved me a ton of work installing Lotan soft close sliding rails on my early 2000’s home. It was worth every penny.

I must admit at first I was a bit skeptical of this jig. However after going to the initial learning curve of using it, this thing proved to be very useful and quick. Made quick and accurate work of putting in two dozen draw slides.

If this had a simple level it would make jobs so much easier. A horizontal and vertical would be even better. New cabinets, I'm sure it's great, but older, less square projects are tough. One other thing, the bottom cutout (3 Left, 2 Right) is different for left and right. No idea why? On bottom drawers with little clearance this can be an issue. For standard cabinets this is a great product though.
