It is a repeated purchase, this hairband provides a good grip to firmly hold the hair without pulling too hard.

These are so cute and colorful, and I can wear one on my wrist like a bracelet until I need to put my hair up; I normally want to have a hair tie or two with me, but don't like how the regular bands look on my wrist. I love the colors of the Bloom set, and some of them even have sparkly thread, which is adorable. ;) My hair is fairly thin, and they work great for me, but they also good for some friends of mine with thick hair. Aside from a ponytail, of course, I've found that these are perfect for buns. (It usually takes multiples elastics and/or bobby pins to keep my hair in a bun.) I love these!!!

My 12 yo and 17 yo daughter love these hair holders. We have them in all colors...definitely more stylish than the standard holders. They do not leave a hair holder line in the hair when the ponytail or flip tail is removed. That means, hair can go from ponytail to down and long without the tell tale marks of a ponytail holder. They also don't grab the hair like standard hair holder elastics so there is less damage/hair loss. If your objective is a super-tight high cheerleader type ponytail - then I don't think these would be your "go to" product. But for everything else - these are fantastic. I could only find these online - nowhere to be found in stores around us in NY.
