As we did not have a front door bell and did not want a plastic push button one this cast iron bell looked to be the perfect solution. Slightly larger and sturdier than envisaged it is the perfect solution. The bell ring is lovely and loud and can be heard from the bottom of our 120 ft garden and inside the house. An ideal dinner bell. Would recommend strongly.
