These purple lights are lovely! I've been wanting purple LED string lights for a while, and I'm happy to finally own them. I've had a bunch of similar type LED string lights but this is the nicest quality so far. It's also the first plug-in type I've owned. The problem with that is that the plug in end of the string is very heavy. So you have to figure out a clever way to get these up on whatever you plan to decorate. They don't just hang up easily on your wall. However, the wire is very malleable so you can twist and turn them to fit anything. I'm really impressed with the number of different modes available through the remote control. I doubt I'll need most of them but I like having all these festive options. The lights are very bright and lively, and they won't fade the same way the battery based lights do. In those lights, they just fade more and more every day until there's no juice left. These lights will twinkle on for hours and hours, and the long length makes it look really pretty. I say go for it!Update: I usually keep these lights on steady. It brightens up my room and cheers me up. However, I've noticed that many of the lights have turned pink from purple. I love pink so that's okay, but I haven't used these lights that long and already the purple is fading. Just be aware this may happen to you as well.

For the price this is a fantastic product, I actually didn't expect to be so pleased as I am with it but I'm truly pleased with this item. Honestly I don't have any complaints except one which is that if you use your TV remote to change the channel or lower or raise the volume on your TV it actually interferes with the lights and it can actually turn on and off your lights or change the settings of your lights. I figured I would advise all of you about that one issue, but honestly that one issue is not for the price this is a fantastic product, I actually didn't expect to be so pleased as I am with it but I'm truly pleased with this item. My husband has his man cave with the behind the tv lights that are multicolored and I wanted to do something similar for my craft room. Purple is my favorite so these being just a single color doesn’t bother me. I hung them up around my craft area hidden behind some draped white tulle and it adds a cute ambience to the room. I wish they were a tad longer (50 feet would have been perfect for my space but I managed), and I also wish the IR remote connection was smaller or atleast black like the cord that plugs into the wall so it was more seamless and didn’t stand out as much as it did in my setup. I had the Remote option enabled for a few days but only used it for off/on mode so I decided for my setup to just remove the IR adapter for now and simply unplug when I want them off. The lights are super bright and I was worried they wouldn’t be since I have other similar fairy type lights for decor but these are impressively bright.

These look more pink to me than purple, both in the daytime and when the house is dark at night. They are, however, very easy to hook up and the controller is simple to use. There are a lot of settings you can select as far as brightness and patterns of light. The brass wires are thin and they make it so you can arrange the lights almost any way your imagination takes you. The tiny lights are very delicate looking and they stay cool to the touch even hours after turning them on. The overall effect is beautiful.I bought them for my daughter-in-law who loves to decorate and is spending her first Christmas in their new house. When I gave them to her yesterday a huge smile spread across her face and it was fun watching her figure out all the places she'd like to use them. First she wanted to use them in a fairy village she's planning, but since it's so close to Christmas, she may use them for Christmas decorations right away. They would also be good in.... and her list went on. What a fun gift, and one I know she'll enjoy for a long time to come.

The lights are nice, though i was hoping they'd be more purple like in the product photos, they turned out to have a heavy blue tint to them. I still like them very much and will be keeping them up in my bedroom for hopefully a long time!the copper wire is very fragile, so if u put them up with a staple gun as i did u have to be very careful not to accidentally cut the wire.

Purchased for decorating tree for lab week. Lab color is purple. Easy to use. Are on constantly and have been since April 15, 2020. Posting this 5/18/20. We love them and get compliments on fun and different lights. We have other lights up that also use a remote and this remote will also effect them, so that might be an issue for others. We don’t use the remote much and only use solid color - no flickers, or following lights allowed in our department. We did check them all the options work just not used.

I was looking for colorful lights to light our wooden stairs during holiday season. I needed smthg bright and this purple lights are just perfect match. They are very very bright and very very purple i just love it. i even use them during night so i do not need to turn on regular light on ans i guess i will continue doing it from now on. I like the fact that they are very long , our stairs are pretty long but this lights did their job to cover it all. My husband also like that it has remote control so they are very easy to operate from distance.
