Q: Why is the mat off by 1 inch.? This doesn’t work for the photo I have.

It's unfortunate crappy advertisement, if you scroll far enough into the description of the product ot is measured out on the mat to be 7.5 x 11.5 and not 8x12 like it says in the title.

Q: Would this work for a 12.5x16 picture?

I don’t think so. You would have to go one size up and have a custom mat cut the that size. Can you crop off 1/2”? Maybe cut 1/4” off each side with a mat knife.

Q: How should I remove the protective film on the plexiglass? I can't do it.

Don't give up. It is difficult to find the edges of the the film to peel off. I keep trying different spots until it finally gave me a way to just peel it off.

Q: What does the back of the frame look like ??
