CSI: Vegas - Season One [DVD]

Great show

the tv series is very good and the quality is very good

I had all the other episodes of the other CSI series through Amazon, then I learned about this new one and I now have it as I never saw any of these episodes and this is the only way to see them by buying the season. It came quickly and well-protected.

The formula that worked for a decade is reformatted in this serialized investigation of a multifaceted crime. The story brings back our beloved heroes of the original series and introduces the next generation of investigators for a new audience. The casting is noticeably PC.The case was a good one. But the jury is still out as to whether or not the new cast can resurrect past glories.

The DVD is a bright and clear version of the episodes shown on tv in the fall, 2021.I am delighted for the return of Sara and Grissom; Jorja Fox and William Petersen look amazing. The episodes fall short of what we got in the original season 1 (which is jaw-dropping amazing 20+ years after it first aired!)The DVD has several interviews including Petersen, Fox, and Anthony Zuiker. The deleted scenes are a disappointment because we know several scenes were cut between Sara and Grissom--we get 5-6 seconds of them holding hands in the lab. Most deleted scenes are Maxine, Alli, and Folsom characters.I would have enjoyed commentary which was done for several seasons in the original show. More interviews would have been nice--with the originals as well as the new ones.At $29-$30, I think this is an expensive DVD--but I can't remember what I paid for other.

I'm a HUGE CSI: Crime Scene Investigation fan and love my Grissom. I was so excited about the new series, but like a lot of folks, it took awhile to get going. Once I watched the episodes back to back, it was wayyyy better. The continuing story that covered all 10 episodes had more flow.Plus, William Petersen is a silver fox ;)

I love that it arrived early and I loved how nostalgic it made me feel for the original series, couldn't stop watching till it was done. Then had to watch again. Thank you very much

The absence of Grissom during the later seasons of CSI Las Vegas became impossible to overcome. Better late than never!
