These bowls are perfect for soup or stew. The handles just add that extra something that looks great but is also functional to keep from burning your hands carrying a hot bowl. The portion size is perfect for a nice hearty bowlful and cleanup is easy.

These chili bowls are just what we needed ahead of the winter season. I'd been serving soup in cereal bowls, which meant the soup got cold and people would have to refill the bowl more frequently. These are nice and deep and the handle is so cute and helpful! I love popping these in the oven to melt some cheese on top. I'm using them for chili, mac and cheese, and soups. Great quality! Only one tiny problem is that they don't stack perfectly.

On the surface, these appear to be one of the best products I've ever bought on Amazon. They are better than I hoped for. Deep with a 22 oz capacity, a glossy black, handles with substance. Wow!I was looking for these to make French onion soup but they'll get much more use than that. Ice cream sundaes, stews, etc.I have just now read about the holes on the underside of the handles so I won't be immersing them to wash them. I can see how these could be a problem.

This was a gift so I did not open upon arrival, and I held for 2 months until celebration. When opened, the bowls were HUGE, which is what the recipient wanted, and he loved the handles and color. Problem, one of the bowls on the bottom was broken. Looked like not enough packaging padding between the bottom and top row. We will keep the bowls as he loved them, just hated one was broken.

Those hold a great portion and hold up to the broiler well. I’m just confused by the hole in the handle that gets water inside and seems impossible to get Ann the liquid out. Liquid is not from what you put inside the bowl, only from washing it.

These crocks are absolutely beautiful in color and shape, they coordinate well with my existing dishes, and they hold a good portion of soups and chowders. So what's not to love, right? Well, I'll tell ya....On the underside of the handle of each crock is a teeny, tiny hole. Surprisingly, that hole is enough to let water collect inside the handle. This is problematic for two reasons:1) If you just use it straight out of the cabinet after having washed it in the dishwasher, as you tilt the bowl to fill it or eat out of it, water will drip and drip and drip everywhere. You will think it's done, move your hand and discover NOPE, there was still some more. It's so annoying. BUT worse than that....2) If there is water in the handle and you heat it in the microwave BE SO CAREFUL. The handle will get SCALDING hot compared to the bowl, probably because of the water inside it that is boiling and turning to steam! The first time we put one in the microwave we didn't realize about the water from the dishwasher and my brother burned his hand. It could have been worse, but it was not pretty.It's a shame. I wanted to give these 5 stars but the water in the handle thing is a real problem. We're hoping we can force out most of the water that is in the handles right now and then perhaps seal that hole with epoxy? But who knows. Had I realized, I might not have kept them.

I absolutely love these. They are the perfect size and the color is beautiful. What I really like about them is the way the handles stay cool. I can heat things up in them in the microwave and the handles do not get hot. I think that they're beautiful and most colorful on my open shelves in my kitchen. I have started collecting this brand because of the color and the perfectly imperfect look of these.
