CPAP Hose Universal CPAP Tubing - 6 Foot (72") - USA Made Compatible with All Machines - 1 Hose

My normal hose broke, and I had to order a hose from Amazon so I could use my CPAP. I was a little concerned usinga hose from Amazon, but I figured I'd give it a go because it was an emergency. The hose that I got with my AirSense 11 was great, durable, and larger, so it didn't feel like I was breathing through a straw, but the replacement Apria sends is not great quality-wise and is small. THIS HOSE is, in my opinion, are as good as the ones you can buy from ResMed for like 60 bucks. They're durable, large, easy to clean, and going to be what I use moving forward. I'll still get the Aprira ones as a backup in case something happens, but if you got $10 to spend every 3 months or so, I'd recommend going with this hose and keeping your freebies from insurance as a backup. This fit my AirSense 11 mask and machine without any issues.

This fit my husband's resmed air sense 10 right out of the package, no issues. He did have a heated hose prior to this, but it got hot and burned where the connector is at, so we had to replace that hose, and I was worried about finding a hose to fit, but this was perfect fit. The quality does not seem any less than the name brand hose we had that came with the unit originally.

Pretty standard CPAP hose, length was the same as every one I have ever had 6ft. Hose felt thinner than what I usually get from Phillips Respironics but it seals just fine and functions normally and the price was a lot less. Can't hear any noise or leakage on either end.

Ordinarily, I would not review something I've only had for a few day, but this if different. If you have sleep apnea, you can't afford to just sit around and wait. My hose had a tear in it. I taped it up; it got another and another. Now, this was during a period that I traveled a few times within a six week period, so I was moving the machine a lot. (The machine and its parts should be able to withstand travel, but I digress). Anyway, when I called for a replacement piece, of course, I was told it was not time, and a new hose would cost $40, so I decided to try this. The circumference is slightly larger than the other one, and it is just the host. The clip part of the headgear is not included, but nothing was wrong with my old one, so it is fine. In my opinion, this one is sturdier than the one I get from the doctor's office, and definitely, the plastic between the ridges is sturdier. This one is not "climate controlled" whatever that means. As far as use, I could not tell any difference, but I can tell you my scores have been higher the last few days than they were even before I was taping up tears/holes. It is very likely that I will contact the doctors office to tell them that I will use these much cheaper hoses if they continue to work for me. I see no reason to pay $40 when a $10 hose will do the same thing. I will come back in a couple of weeks to comment on how things are doing.

After a while, the tube separates from the spring that keeps the airway free and starts to crimp at the ends. That restricts airflow so make sure you get this replaced regularly.
