ORACAL651-12" x 10yd - Black Gloss 070

This product met my expectations. As you can see by my picture, my project was to put this on the risers of my stairs. I didn't want to paint. I could remove if I didn't like the look, but I like it versus the look before.I chose to cover my risers with the Oracal product because I didn't want to paint, and I didn't want to cover with something that would add thickness. Looks every bit a good as I had hoped. The look is a matter of opinion. I like this traditional look (with white risers) over the sold look where risers and treads are the same color. The contrast also makes it easier to judge each step when walking upstairs.This product is pretty tacky. But I was able to peel it back and press back down to remove bubbles and wrinkles as I applied it. If it becomes damaged over time, it should remove without any drama. And if it becomes more sticky with time, I've read that it can be made less sticky with applying some heat (maybe a hair dryer or other tool).In summary, I recommend this product as it met my expectations for quality and my project.

Pro'sIt's real ORAFOL AKA OracalCon's1-No cardboard core2-Core diameter is too small for a cutter media rod or storage rack.3- It wasn't packaged very well, or at all really, sorta kinda?If you have Amazon Prime then you'll understand perfectly what I mean when I say, it was tossed into an oversized Amazon Prime box with a couple of other items. No airbags or anything else to keep it from bouncing around and against the sides or other items.The end result, the first half of the roll was damaged. Since I needed 2 pieces, each one being 6 foot long I couldn't return it. Well I could have but then the 2 6' decals wouldn't have been ready on time for pick up.The fist 15" wasn't a complete loss but I did have to cut 2.5" off of it making it 9.5" wide.Was it a fluke? I hope so. Odds are it was mostly due to some underpaid Amazon warehouse guy/gal not caring about how they boxed it up. Followed by the courier using the box as a soccer ball or a practice box for the upcoming Amazon Games in the catapult delivery competition. :-]FYI on the core diameter.It doesn't have the cardboard tube center core like the photo, so don't be surprised. I wasn't expecting it to have the core because it's not a full roll but what pissed me off (other than the catapult delivery damage) was the diameter of the hole, it was only an inch across so it would not fit on the media dispensing rod that my 28" contour cutter came with. I even tried using a broom stick but that was too larger also. I had to unroll it cut off the damaged portion & reroll it so that I could hang it on the rod.Again hopefully this was a one off series of failures that sometimes happens.Would I buy again ?If it had a larger core diameter and better packaging (Amazon) to protect it from being used for 'catapult delivery' practice. Yes I wouldHowever until they cancel the annual Amazon Games catapult deliver competition I think I'll hold off on reordering more, so the jury is out.

This roll is amazing, comes out to what 76 cents a foot? And you get 30 feet!!! I have used half the roll so far and the only problem ive had is the first few inches of so the tape left a little residue, kinda common when buying vinyl but i was able to still use it still, as far as packaging it was packaged in a nice cardboard tube that i continue to put the roll back into, i will continue to buy this in bulk as i go through alot of vinyl, i will also be ordering different colors next time.

Have used Oracal 651 for multiple projects in the past and love it but for some reason, which I haven’t been able to figure out, this particular roll has been most difficult. Not cutting completely through, even though I’m using a brand new blade; weeding is a constant battle; made 2 full 12x12 sheets of decals but could only salvage 4 of them. I’ll continue using Oracal 651 but will try each roll as I receive it. (Didn’t need to use until yesterday, now a full month past the return date.)

This is a very large roll of white oracal vinyl and as always, it cuts perfectly each and every time and peels so easily. I have bought other, cheaper brands in the past but I always come back to Oracle because fine other vinyls that are little less expensive, is definitely not worth it in the end. You get what you pay for , so if you want vinyl that cuts and peels easily, everytime, not one time out of three or two times out of eight but every time, without all the stress of messing around with another brand and just hoping it works, then stick with Oracle, and you'll be stress-free.
