Burg-Wachter 2M Sold Secure Lock Kit Bike, Black, 2M

My bike, now don’t fear it being stolen, value for your money.

Used as a motorbike lock and left at work. Very strong and heavy-duty so wouldn't travel with it. Very good value for money.

Very solid chain, bought to replace one that had been smashed up and bike went too. Fortunately bike was recovered so replaced the lock with this. Had to buy 2m as it’s to lock a Carerra hellcat bike that has a removable wheel so this goes right round and through then secured which is plenty long enough. Lock I personally found a bit fiddly but not to my 14 YO. So far, so good, only consideration to make is the sheer weight of it, my son tends to wear it when he cycles to school but it is very heavy.

This is perfect for my little station runner to lock up. Feels very safe and secure.

This is my second purchase of this lock for my bike shed. A good heavy lock which hopefully slows down any potential bike theft.

I’ve used this a few times to lock two mountain bikes whilst out and about, and it seems to work well. The chain itself is heavy (but padded), with the lock feeling well made. No signs of any rust yet, and whilst I’m not a locksmith, I think it would take some serious tools to cut either the chain or the shackle.

Bought it just over a year ago and have been using it daily to lock my bike at home.As of yesterday, the barrel is stuck and the key will not turn it. I tried both keys (had saved one when first bought). I’m lucky it got stuck when it was not in use otherwise my bicycle would be locked and I would have to call the locksmith… I can’t see any way to write to the company for a replacement hence the rating…

Literally *Heavy* duty. I'm also using a second lock for added security but I think you'd need some pretty good tools to break this, it is not flimsy, check the weight! Locks/unlocks fine.

L'ho preso pensando potesse andar bene per la bici ma purtroppo per me è davvero troppo pesante. Andrebbe decisamente meglio per una moto.Sembra molto resistente e anche il lucchetto sembra ottimo, anche le chiavi di ferro non si piegano e si vede che sono di qualità. Ho dovuto fare il reso solo per il peso, altrimenti l'avrei tenuto.Di sicuro ha un aspetto massiccio e direi che scoraggia i ladri.
