Glo to Sleep ~ Sleeping Eye Mask To Calm Your Mind, Relax Yo

I do not use the strange flourescent lighting inside the mask for a sleep ritual. However the mask is the best I have tried for comfort and keeping light out at night. After a couple of years it gets a little shabby and the foam getts too soft. So I got a new one. I don't get why it is so expensive, but at least it work--it is the only sleep mask I have tried that both keeps light out and does not bother my eyes or eyelashes which a mask should never touch.

I'm not usually a napper and when I would try to do so during the day, my mind would just race and I'd give up and forgo the nap. I have been able to sleep a couple of times and found it helpful as it blocks out the light as well as gives you something to focus on to make your mind let go.

I'm not sure WHY this works, I only know it does. I charge up the glow for about 30 seconds and put on the mask. Staring at the glow strips I can only last about 15 seconds before my eyes start to close and I'm asleep very quickly. If I wake up for some reason, the glow strips are often still there and I just open my eyes to go back to sleep. The best part is, I don't have to close my shades completely in order to have darkness, that means in the morning I can take off the mask as I'm waking up and have the natural light.

This product did not help me to relax or sleep. The only positive is that it did control the light so that the room is in total blackness. I tried this several nights and the lines inside the mask did glow but I felt nothing in terms of relaxation and took my usual one hour to fall asleep. I am very disappointed that this product did not work for me.

1st. The smell is horrible... I hand washed it several times (no how to wash instructions supplied). Still smelled but not as bad. Whatever garbage they used to make this burns my eyes.... so kinda not very useful for an eye mask.2nd. No mention of 'cannot return if seal is broken' ... Kind of important to know before purchasing something like an eye mask.3rd. I don't know about anyone else but the straps are .... humm a little to low on the mask. It's just a little uncomfortable.I would have returned this product but I opened it soooo.... yeah taking that hit to my wallet hurts a little but what can you do.
