I use it through a wall to the outside.• The outlets are relatively compact.• Attractive pricing for two outlets and remotes.• Batteries includedCON’S• The short outlet cords are stiff.• I would prefer AAA battery for longer life instead of a button cell.• The remote feels a bit “cheap” but works well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good product but poor instructions. *by P***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 14, 2022* This product works just like it’s supposed to with one remote and several strings of LED lights on an indoor tree. (I bought a two pack just in case.)But I give it only four stars because there are problems with the battery diagram / written instructions (User Manual) / the warning on the outlet / Amazon’s website. Specifically:The polarity diagram inside of the battery compartment is not clear and the battery can be physically inserted in the remote control either way. When installed, the + side of the battery should be visible.I agree with earlier comments that Page 3 instructions are improperly written and that the remote’s button should be pressed during the 29 second learning mode.Page 4 of the instructions has a warning all in capitals to “*PLUG INTO GROUND FAULT PROTECTED RECEPTACLE ONLY.” I imagine that the undefined asterisk indicates this is only required for outdoor use. A similar warning appears on the box.On the back of the remote outlet, in fine print, is “Warning: Outlet must be mounted in a vertical position with outlets facing downward and be at least 55” (1.4 m) above ground level.” This is probably to keep water out of the outlet but I wonder how many outdoor electrical supplies to these outlets are more than five feet above ground. Finally, perhaps nit-picking, the stiff power cords are folded over in the box and are really difficult to keep straight. The packaging should be changed so the power cords are shipped straight, i.e. a longer box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works on shopvac *by C***D on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 20, 2023* Should have had this years ago --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ma/products/390463172-bestten-2-pack-remote-control-outdoor-outlet-switch-with-6](https://www.desertcart.ma/products/390463172-bestten-2-pack-remote-control-outdoor-outlet-switch-with-6) --- *Product available on Desertcart Morocco* *Store origin: MA* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
