The 60 Mylar bags arrived very quickly and are 5 mil thick as described. They are also an excellent value. I worried about the oxygen absorbers being rock hard and unusable as another reviewer wrote. They are rock hard until you open the sealed bag they’re in. They aren’t hard and begin to warm up in seconds which let me know they’re working. I resealed quickly in a mason jar to preserve them for future use. All in all, a great overall product and value.

This was my first experience with using mylar food storage bags. I am so impressed with quality, affordability and being able to reuse many times over. The bags pay for themselves!

Bought these to seal a bunch of dry dog food, with O2 absorbers, for the apocalypse. The sealing strip atop the zipper closure could be a bit wider but I didn't have any trouble sealing them with an old iron and a wooden yardstick as a base. Sealed everything except a small hole, then squeezed the remaining air out, then finished sealing the top. The next morning, with the O2 absorbers, every bag had drawn up nice and tight. Because of the fat content, I expect the shelf life of the dry dog food to be only about one year but it's good peace of mind.

A perfect mylar for food storage, 5 mil thickness which is good. It has got a zipper and can be heat sealed at the top. 60 Oxygen absorbers provded which works well. These bags were neatly packed into a larger bag, then in a cardboard box, and were not folded. I have had the experience of seller sending me 5 gallon m. bags which were folded causing damage to the protective layer. Very much recommended this.

Bagged up all my food got all ready so I could pop in the oxygen absorbers fast and get them sealed only to find that 2 packs of 10 each had not been sealed properly and so were of no use. Really miffed as I'm now sat here with my mylar bags filled but no absorbers.
