......in the Barn! Gotta Have it!
Cotter has really tapped into a new movement with his ....in the Barn series, and the motorcycle area seems to have taken on a life of its own. While I did enjoy the Vincent in the Barn a bit more, this book still has a series of stories that are gripping, adrenaline pumping and interesting. It's the kind of book that you can pick up, read for an hour, put down and read it for a couple of hours again when the mood strikes. Every car enthusiast and motorcycle buff should own this book.

A very decent read
If you like the other books in this series or enjoy fiddling around with old motorbikes as I do this is a very decent read.A nice light book for the holidays - the format makes it simple to enjoy 1 or 2 stories at a time or you could sit down an digest in a couple of sittings.Enjoy.

Jay Leno's execelent recomendation
Excellent book. I have already read it and handed it off to a fellow motorcycle fan. Can't wait to read the rest of the series but wish the paper was a little kinder on the eyes. Make the pictures pop but hard on the text. Regardless, I will be reading the rest of Mr. Cotter's work on moto-archaeologists.

Another Winner From Tom Cotter
I have all of Tom's previous books, both cars and motorcycles. It has me constantly looking for that next barn find, but I have to admit that some people are just more lucky than others. I have been looking for years, so this I guess is a way to live vicariously through the stories of others. This book gave me insight that I ended up checking out Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley, NC another place where the stories come to life, the museum is dedicated to the old an crusty as Tom describes in this book.Hopefully he keeps them coming, I still hope that one day I will come across a bike hidden in a barn, but until then I can read about what is still out there.

You Can't Beat Cotter
Some authors just have a way of making you feel like you're a long-time friend. Their words are like slipping on a favorite pair of old shoes or your oldest worn out jeans. Tom Cotter has that way. The 'Harley in the Barn' is another tale of excavation, exploration, and of ancient two-wheeled relics, as loved by a man who shares that love with his words.Bravo, Mr. Cotter!
