Tan, 10 Feet, 1 Inch PolyPro Rope - Flat Hollow Braid

I bought this to assist with my polishing of crankshaft journals and it looks to be a winner. I use junk main bearings in the main saddles and spin the crank with my cordless drill and use hand cleaner on the braid and let it rip. that really knocks down the minor scratches out then go to a finer grit wet/dry paper to finish it off. Turtle wax metal polisher works great as well to get that mirror finish. Use a crankshaft socket with the 1/2 inch adapter in your drill to spin the crank and some WD40 to lube the bearings and journals

I used it for a replacement on a bistro set that had a bamboo wrap that got brittle and broke.

OCT. 21, 2020I buy a lot of this rope. We never had a problem until now. They were much shorter than 25 feet. They were short 3 or four feet. I dont know if there is a shortage of rope or what but I need 25 feet. I'm sure they will correct this problem. I'll update my post when I hear back from them. Meantime if you buy this stuff measure it carefully before you use it if you are depending on getting exactly what you need.October 28, 2020My request for replacement was not met with opposition. I promptly got five new ropes yesterday. They did much better this time. Only one rope was short All the others were a little long. I know, if I just cut those to size I can add them to the short one. I reality I got the total footage, unattached. Thank you for your honesty.

I bought this accidentally. I figured it was a round rope but instead was a flat rope. I figured I would give it a try after I received it and it appears to be working quite well.

I like this product very much, it’s a nice sturdy weight and a great quality but the cuts of my orders were very inconsistent. I order 10ft of black, teal, and the silver grey and they were all different lengths, significantly different but all at least the 10ft I ordered so I’m not mad about receiving additional length.

Fortunately, color was not crucial for the intended use of this. (Someone is either color blind or can’t read English words). It is turquoise/aqua in color, when the label clearly states “Tan”. It is nice quality though, and will work fine this time.
