I have a Full sized frame, and fit one one of these on each side of it, south of the nightstands. There was still room for a third-party (lower height) drawer at the foot of the bed, which is a flimsy piece of c**p compared to these. However, I don’t think the product info does a good job of showing how they are actually constructed — like a tiny bed frame (see pictures) with open slats. If you are trying to store smaller items, this could pose a problem. I put a HDF insert into one, and use it for shoes. You might get away with using a large piece of cardboard. These drawers really hold a lot compared to the more common 6” high ones. They don’t waste storage space using large swivel casters, as I have seen on other freely rolling underbed drawers (and which you don’t really want for something that is supposed to roll straight out and back). I have about 9 pairs of boots and clogs in one. The other one holds my winter duvet, a sheet set, and two blankets. All in inches. Roll out easy under bed. Make sure you have at least 10 inches of clearance under bed. Stain nice right out of box no need to sand. 2 coats better than one. **Q: Are the wheels such that the drawers could be wheeled sideways? I would want to orient them 90 degrees to what is shown.** A: The wheels are one directional. They roll the drawer forward and back on the long side. However, if you had the tools, they could be turned to pull the opposite way. It would take such things as a router, a jig, and other hand tools. It could be done, but not easily. The drawer is actually designed to only roll one way. If you installed other wheels, such as casters, the drawers would no longer work under the bed since they would be too tall. **Q: Does the 10 high inches include the wheels?** A: The wheels left the box about 1/4" off the floor. The 10 inches is the front face board which does not go under the bed but stops at the bed frame keeping the box from disappearing under the bed. The other three sides to the box are about 8" high. I had to lift the bed about 1" to get the boxes to clear the frame. I did this by changing to larger wheels on the frame feet. This box glides on carpet with ease and is larger than an any plastic box I've tried in the past. The construction is superior. **Q: Can you put 4 drawers under one twin bed ?** A: Yes! They match the bed (Twin Size Charleston Platform Bed Frame - Solid Hardwood ) perfectly. One thing we didn't think about but that we love, is that our son has told us that there can't be any monster under his bed, because with the drawers there, there isn't room. I don't know that I agree, but it helps him sleep and night, so I appreciate that. The rollers work great. We have new carpet in the room, so we were a little worried that the wheels would snag or catch, but they don't at all. They are nice. The size is deceptively large. Almost too large for a toddler. We started putting underware and pj's in the drawers, and they work fine, but since there is no compartmentalization, all the things go in one big pile. That may not be a problem for some bulkier items, but when we only have a few pairs of pj's and a couple of packs of underware I'm not sure we're using the space most effectively. One other note is the slatted bottom. When we stored small articles of clothing in the drawers, they would tend to fall through those slats. I simply measured my completed drawers, went to Lowe's and picked up a couple pieces of thin plywood, had them cut the wood to size, came home, sanded it and put them in. I think it is a preference thing about whether you want a solid or slatted bottom, and I understand why they make them slatted, but you may want to consider what you'll be storing in them when they are installed. These obviously need to be assembled, and the assembly could not be easier. It comes with bolts, an allen wrench and some great instructions. The pieces are all clearly identifiable, and well sanded. If you want to finish them, you probably want to do so before you assemble, but the choice is up to you.
