Fantastic for pop doodling more so 3D
Images help right? If you’re looking for office work, too thick in my opinion. Now doodling and thick, block like creations - perfect.

Not for precision graphics
First, I did have smearing with these. But the main reason I returned them was because after using one pen for just a few minutes, the soft flexible tip became "hairy." I want a hard precision tip for sharp lines.

Nice Set
I usually really like most of the Arteza items that I get to review, but these different sets of felt brush pens are a bit confusing to me. There is no name or number of the color on the pens themselves on all three sets that I got. They show the colors in the box on the back of the box, yet once again no number or color name which makes it difficult to see if you get repeating colors in each set. I think perhaps I will try to print out the color chart in the listing, except the color chart for this basic set as it doesn't have a color name in the listing either. I expect better from Arteza. This pack is 24 pens called Basic colors. The first thing that is strange to me is the fact that these pens are so much more expensive than the other sets I received for the same 24 pen count as the others. As there is no names given to the basic pens in the listing, in the box or on the pens, it is difficult when buying them to know if you are getting repeated colors. Looking on the page that I swatched out the three boxes that I have, it looks as if several pens are repeated. At the price per pen, I wouldn't like to end up with repeated colors. When I swatched out these pens I was rather surprised to not see a pure red color. Even an 8 crayon box has a pure red in it, along with a green, blue, yellow, purple, and orange along with usually a white and black. I don't even know how to express it, but this set of 'basic' colors, felt like a hodge-podge to me. I would think a set of basic colors would include all the bright primary colors along with a lighter color, such as pink, along with the needed neutrals such as black, brown, gray. These just didn't seem to be pure basic colors to build on. The pens themselves worked well and wrote nicely. It also gives me pause that the first use suggested for them is note taking. Granted when I was in high school, college, and nursing school, we didn't have such a plethora of pens and markers, but I think I would still take notes in regular blue pen and as I go through the notes later, highlight important notes by color. I can see using these for doodling, and journaling, etc. So far, other than swatching the colors, I haven't done much with them yet. I have had a busy few months. I want to learn calligraphy and as these pens are supposed to be good for that and adding in color to your writing, I think that is what I plan on using them for.The photo shows all three of the sets I have with the basic colors in the middle. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of the set on its own. I do note, that at least to my eyes, there is not a single real red color. in any of the three sets that I got. As red and pink are my favorite colors, I tend to miss them when they aren't there. Even those colors that might have different names, seem to be very similar. Before buying these, you might want to make sure that you will be getting the colors that are the most important to you and make that the first set you get so that not only do you have the colors you want, but you can try out the pens themselves to see how they work for you.I appreciate the opportunity to try these out. Thank you.

Nice pens overall
The Arteza Felt Brush Pens are nice overall with just a few cons.Let me start with the pros. The 24 count set has a nice variety of colors to choose from (with just a few exceptions - see cons below). I swatched them out on 32 lb. HP Premium smooth paper (basically marker paper). They went on nicely and did not bleed through on the back. The colors dried quickly and vibrant. I also colored a mandala on a thinner coloring book paper. I loved how using the side of the felt tip helped in coloring larger areas. The tips also held up nicely! Now for the cons. There are no names or numbers on the pens so I had to arrange them in color order using the color palette on the back of the box before I swatched them. There are also a few more brownish orange colors than I’d like. Colors such as red and teal would be good choices to have instead. These felt brush pens are really nice and enjoyable to color with. They will leave some streaks and bleed through to the back slightly on thinner paper. Overall, I think they are worth it. Maybe not just for coloring, but for lettering, calligraphy and drawing.

Decent feel and bold colors, but color choices are a bit odd
These felt tip markers are pretty interesting in that they have a brush tip. It's a firmer tip than what you expect from a Copic or Tombow marker, just for comparisons sake. The colors are bold, and they get bolder as you layer them. The ink consistency is smooth and they are easy to write with. The one nit is that I couldn't find a bold red color in the 24-pack, which seemed like an odd choice. The closest to red is a dark pink, but a fairly pure red it is not.Even with that said, I would recommend these for anyone who enjoys felt tip pens.

Underwhelmed
I wasn't impressed. I was hoping that these would be like a more flexible Flair pen, and it kind of is, but they left me very underwhelmed. The color variety is very bland as well - 8 in the orange/yellow/beige/brown range, but only 2 purples? Where's the red? The light gray is almost invisible. These are fine for writing a quick note or something, but I don't foresee myself using these for coloring or journaling.

Just okay brush pens.
I like this brand but these are just okay. The brushes are a little dry. I would have loved these if the druse held even color with the full stroke of the brush.
