Excellent product at a fair price
Wonderful effect. Did you know that plasma has more mass in this universe than all other forms of matter combined? Much of the amazing pictures from Hubble are plasma... many light years across.

Good Enough
It's good enough for lighting up neon bulbs/tubes to check them. They won't get super bright, but it works and this is cheap. Beware that high voltage from the transformer makes its way back to the DC jack... I was able to power a neon indicator brightly by touching it to the center pin and ground of the connector. It should however not shock you or pose a danger to what you have hooked into it.

Decent, when it works.
Bought one for my son for his birthday. Stopped working after 2 days. Got a replacement from Amazon and the new one has been working well for a couple of weeks now.So, it all depends on the one you get I guess. For $10 though, can't complain too much.

It's Alive!!
As many of my former business associates can attest, I prefer to conduct my Zoom meetings from a darkened room, illuminated only by the light of my iMac screen and this wee USB desktop plasma ball.I thought I was fulfilling a childhood dream of looking like an all-knowing, B-movie mad scientist. But really I was fulfilling an adult nightmare of confusing and alienating employers and coworkers who failed to appreciate my minimalistic business hours cosplay.Unemployment sucks. But when I'm feeling really low, all I have to do to cheer myself up is plug in my pint-sized plasma ball and stare into the swirling purple electromagnetic maelstrom until my retinas begin to burn.

Super fun plasma globe.
I bought this small plasma globe to take apart and play with the globe portion using the many HV supplies I have accumulated over the years. I ended up putting it in my own project case and wound up using the small driver circuit it came with. I now have the ability to power it with a variable power supply or batteries for lots of experimental fun!

It's neat, and it's inexpensive...
It's so cool to have one of these, and you only have to plug it in to a USB charger/power supply. It's just a neat little gadget, not useful for anything, and pretty much a waste of money, but still kinda cool.
