Great bag
Great bag. Comparment and attachment rich. Super heavy duty zips. Very functional. It has a larger storage capacity than it appears to have. Full of pockets and attachment points. Great value for the money.

Great Fishpond Quality!
I own/have owned several Fishpond fishing bags, vests, packs, etc. over the years. All are/were great products. They worked as advertised and were built of high quality materials to last a long, long time. I have recently chosen to lighten my load when it comes to fishing, not wanting to lug around a complete tackle box or bag plus I no longer want to wear a weighted down fishing vest. I fish ultralight now and don't require everything including the kitchen sink when I go out. Enough tackle for a few hours or a few days of fishing. This Summit 2.0 Sling Bag fits the bill perfectly. I went through several 'cheap' sling bags and lumbar bags but each of them was lacking in one way or another and not comfortable to wear when filled up. The Summit Sling Bag fits all of the gear I will need for my style and length of time fishing and is comfortable doing it. Yes is costs more but you get a better design, better quality and usefulness from it. You can't go wrong with Fishpond products.

Just a tad bit smaller than I’d like
It works for my purposes, and it’s made for fly fishing obviously but I am using it currently as a saltwater tackle pack. Everything is a bit bigger for saltwater, I wish the bag was 20 percent bigger. But overall it’s good. Looks nice and is sturdy.

Awesome bag for steelhead stream fishing
Carries everything I need for a day steelhead fishing. Plenty of room for larger fly and lure boxes. Ample and convenient storage compartments for rigging gear. Easily accessible when needed and swings out of the way when you’re fishing. Comfortable to carry all day without impeding your ability to fish, like a chest pack does. Highly recommended.

Great bag
Love this bag. I don’t have a ton of gear but it holds the flys I want to use that day, a rain jacket, gloves, a snack, and a water bottle. The water bottle holder is a little sketchy and the elastic strap does help I just feel like it wouldn’t take much for my bottle to fall out

Love fishpond
I own a lot of chest packs and slings. Like a lot of people depending on what I’m doing and where I’m going I’ll pick a pack that suites my needs in that situation. This sling pack is great for day/multi day trips. It has tons of space and all sorts of different compartments. It’s also not too painfully expensive. Fishpond in my opinion has really mastered travel and storage gear for fly fishers. The reason it’s worth spending the extra couple dollars to get a pack from a company like Fishpond is their research and development in their products. All the different compartments, rings, tool holders, etc. are all in the most optimal space, and these are things you really start to notice when your on the water. Access to your gear is critical, and being able to organize and store it where is best for you makes things so much easier when your standing in the middle of a river. The front compartment has a fly drying dock inside and folds down into almost a little table you can work on, and the 2 large compartments on side can hold fly boxes, water bottles, a rain jacket, etc. you also have all sorts or “loops” for tippet holders, your net and zingers. I would definitely recommend this pack to anyone who is going to be out for awhile and/or needs to hike with some gear.

Lots of storage
I just got this pack and loaded it up with fly boxes and tools. I added a Fish Pond tippet keeper, which is cool, too.I’m the positive side, the pack is extremely roomy. There are pockets for four+ boxes, plus a tacky fly keeper that will hold 90 flies on its own. I emptied my old pack into this one, and with the tippet keeper, I managed to ditch my lanyard, too.On the downside, this pack will take some getting used to. The shoulder strap has some accessory holders on the neck-side of the strap, which are basically useless. Plus I hate having anything rubbing against my neck all day. The net keeper is convenient, but it’s fairly tight and I’m having trouble finding a place to hook a lanyard. The only thing I hate more than losing a net is having to buy a new one, so I’m a big fan of lanyards. I’ll have to keep messing with this to see what works.Other than that, the pack seems like a quality piece, just as I’d expectFrom Fish Pond. I’m looking forward to my first trip on the water with my new pack!
