Estako Velvet Chenille Blanket amigurumi Yarn for Crocheting and Knitting Super Bulky 100 gr (132 yds) (1210 - Navy Blue)

This is a very soft, velvety thread, but not easy to use. It breaks pretty easy. I am making a deer for my grandson with it. It will be pretty when I finish it. It would make a nice teddy bear.

I have been knitting for over 70 years and this is by far the best yarn I have ever worked with. So far I have made three scarves and the recipients have absolutely love them. This yarn is soft, the colors are wonderful, and I doubt if I shall ever use any other kind of yarn.

It’s definitely nice and soft. The quality didn’t look or feel very good though. I’d be afraid to start a project with it , but I did return it so I can say how it would have actually turned out, but the price was outrageous for the size so I choose to return it

Everything was good and came quickly

I do like the way it looks once worked up and it is very soft. Unfortunately, it frays very easily only the ends and is considerably smaller than most skeins of velvet yarn by other brands. I purchased twice because I ran out so quickly. I’m really trying to love it since I don’t want to switch brands in the middle of my project and I spent way too much money already. I’ve included a scale picture of another brand that cost me only $9 and is MUCH better quality. I even included a picture of the ridiculous amount of smaller cut up pieces that I found in the very center. I would much rather pay this price for the other yarn. Not worth it and sadly will have to either scrap my project or purchase more to finish it. 😔
