Self leveling paint
Love this paint! So easy to apply, coverage is great and no need to apply top coat. Would buy again.Only problem was the lid became loose and it was partially spilt. I was given my money back, but they said ‘it was the last time’ what does that mean? If it happens to new purchase they won’t refund? Hmmm

Disappointing product and dismal customer service
The representations made for using this product to miraculously restore and change the color of vinyl furniture is significantly overblown. First, the paint appears to be quite stiff and does not flex like the original so your furniture will certainly "sit" differently after painting it on. Secondly, the paint does not appear to very durable and began to develop small cracks shortly after the first coat despite having followed their video instructions meticulously in both cleaning, surface prep and application. The second coat may fare better, but time will tell. Finally, and most importantly, their customer service is dismal at best.I was very meticulous in selecting the color to match another piece of vinyl furniture in the same room. I found one on their Amazon website that was a perfect match. When I received my order and applied the finish I noticed the color was much lighter- almost white. However, I assumed it might darken as it dried and since I had already started and was anxious to finish, I continued to coat the entire piece. It did not dry down darker. I even checked the final color against the company's color chips included with my order and it clearly did not match. So, I emailed the company and waited to hear back. I was hoping for quick resolution and even proposed a very reasonable resolution. Having received no response after 24 hours, I called the company, finally got thru to their customer service representative, explained the situation and asked if she could check for my email. She initially said she had not received any email. I offered to resend, but she eventually found it and we continued the call. After explaining the situation, the agent then said I would first need to send in the color chart with a dot of the paint on my color before she could proceed. I had used all they paint and put the can in the trash. However, later in the day I was able to dumpster dive and scrape a small amount of partially dried paint and applied it to their color chart, took a photo and emailed as required.I called again the next day, got the same agent, she again said could not find either email. I offered to resend, she then quickly found it. She said, she would now need me to send in the empty can. I told her I am not in the habit of keeping empty cans of paint and asked why she had not mentioned this the day before. I told her I was quite sure it been picked up by the trash men by this time. Then she said she would also need a copy of the original Amazon order. I sent them 2 different emails which I copied from the Amazon site. I finally called and asked Amazon to email them a copy of the order directly. I called back and the same agent then said she would have to ask her General Manager before she could do anything. After the weekend, I got an email from a supervisor in customer support, Tracey. It said that the required original order was not sufficient and perhaps I could try again. She said normally Amazon orders have to be resolved by Amazon, but I could call and she would see what we could do.I chose to call to find out exactly what she was wanting. She was certainly less than cordial and did not seem to want to honestly correct their error. While we were on the phone I again sent her the original invoice in a different format- she was able to read it. Despite having the color card in hand clearly showing that the actual paint did not match the sample (see attached photo), she still was reluctant to acknowledge the problem. I had suggested in my original email to them that they send a slightly darker gray color and I offered to even buy a small can of their white color so I could blend on site to insure we didn't have another issue since I have guests coming for graduations and don't have time to go through another debacle before getting my furniture to match. She also said she could only send another can of the exact color I ordered. I said that is fine if it actually matches the color chart, so please have it checked before it goes out. She said she was doing me a favor by even doing this since they normally require that Amazon order problems have to go through Amazon. She shipped it out the following day.The lack of a caring attitude, general incompetence or obstructiveness, and no empowerment of line level customer support people falls well short of any resemblance to what customer service should be. The company management needs to pay closer attention to quality assurance and certainly more focus on customer service training (or perhaps policy).

Easy to cover up old cabinets
The media could not be loaded. The paint was fairly easy. To apply .My only concern is being cautious with spills. Bleach leaves marks . I spilled coffee. It s not stain resistant. I have an extra can for touch ups.

Once you get the hang of it- best paint ever!!
My countertop project isn’t finished yet but I painted my dishwasher and it’s held up beautifully (been a couple of months now) at first the steam from the dishwasher made the paint bubble up a little and I got nervous but once it cured it was fine. I plan on using the new clear waterproof coating on the top edge of the dishwasher as well as the counter tops but haven’t gotten that far yet. The counter hasn’t been used too much but has had lots of things put on it and no issues with the paint. Just shouldn’t let any liquid sit on it for an extended period of time because it makes the paint bubble up but once wiped up it settled back down flat. It does take some practice to get a smooth coat but if you check out the heirloom traditions Facebook page or website they have great tutorials. I definitely recommend getting the brush, roller, and true applicators they show in the tutorials because it truly does go on well with those tools. I mean a paint that holds up on a dishwasher?! How can you go wrong. I have also used it on a coffee table and plan to paint my refrigerator to match the dishwasher once I finish the countertops. Works beautifully on cabinets too. (Also recommend getting the surface prep as this magical stuff lets you brush it on, scrub with a scrubber pad and wipe clean and that’s ALL YOU NEED TO DO before painting with this paint! No sanding or priming needed!) this paint really is like magic in a can!

High Five for Heirloom!
I will update once I am finished with kitchen but oh my GOODNESS my fugly laminate cabinets from 1950 had to go no offense to anyone who likes just not my style. It’s 2020 and some of us still have our champagne taste and unfortunately not the salary atm. I was skeptical buying paint online but after researching forever the reviews and finding out a friend had used this veryPaint I felt all the more confident. I used a SOS to clean sanded with 120 just a wash on wash off all over real quick but with some elbow grease and cleaned again then dried very well. This paint is MAGIC It spreads so smoothly a little goes A Long way. I needed 3 coats and I only used 1 container. #smallkitchensquad My dogs were upstairs while I had the windows open downstairs where I was but really this has little to no odor. I cannot stress this enough Follow advice about the brushes you use and don’t Forget also how to clean them<- you want a good not cheap but not ridiculously costly brush(es) I thought rinsing with water like any another other brush with mild soap wouldDo it no no mine were hard as rocks thank goodness I bought multiples better to have an not need esp when painting*. I used YouTube to make my decision and reviews on here as far as brushes go. Shipping was speedy and overall VERY happy with the results I am getting so far. Such a smooth finish too! Love love love this and I hope it helps!
