This is a self-published book based on Stellarium. One of the 50 objects that the book lists is birds. The publication quality of the paper version is very low.

A helpful guide for beginners, an excellent gift for any age. Helps if the person already has a 🔭 and even if they don't, there's plenty to see with naked eye and this is great companion

Looks like a good quality of the paperback book, very clear. The pictures inside are black and white, but this is because the author wanted it to be that way, he says that the images on the book, looks exactly as they can be seen from our eyes through a telescope.I dont think is worthy to pay for the hardcase book which is almost 3 times expensive than the paperback book. Anyways, its a nice book for a novice stargazer.

I have read many astronomy books and I have to say this one is special. It is fun to read with very useful navigation sky charts pinpointing the targets relative to the star patterns. The book doesn't give false expectation of visual astronomy by showing colorful DSO images. The whole presentation is simple but concise. Best if one can make reference to Stellarium or SkySafari as reading along. A virtual sky tour! Very outstanding book indeed.

I grew up in the northern hemisphere with a small telescope. Now I'm living in country west Australia and have bought a 10inch dobsonian and this book is absolutely great and funny

easy read and illustrated, a wonderful introductory book.

Definitely helpful for beginners. If you need someone to tell you what it looks like, where you can find it and when, this is what your looking for
