Only ostomy product that works for my sons ostomy
My son has Crohn's disease diagnosed when he was 4..He had his first surgery about 9 years later which he ended up with ileostomy..We have seriously tried everything our insurance would pay for. We seen an ostomy nurse many times to try new ways to get his wafer to stay on his skin, nothing worked for longer then a 1 day and some only lasted hrs we were constantly changing it and his skin became so raw it would bleed and we would have to sit for hrs trying to let his skin dry. Besides being in horrible pain from having crohn's to then having horrible rashes and bleeding and the embarrassment he felt when we actually did have to go places and it falling off sometimes with full output sometimes only some either way when it fell and hit the floor it went everywhere..My son hardly wanted to leave house and it got so bad he could no longer go to school because of the bag and wafer coming off .. We lost insurance for a few months and I had to start buying supplies without insurance and asking for free samples from companies and then he had to use anything we could get and I finally found these and they have been amazing ..not a total game changer but so so so better then before..My insurance doesn't pay for these still so I still need to pay out of pocket but my son can finally get 3 days usually on one appliance. We had at least 2 nights a week where he had to get in shower and I had to change full bedding because of leaks and fully coming off even with a stealth belt.. Since using these he has had no leaks no appliance falling off..He's had his bag for over 5 years now and just turned 15.. He had to have almost his entire colon removed last Feb from his disease but they said there is a very small chance he could have it reversed and we are hoping for that day always but for now I'm so grateful to have found these and it sucks having to pay for them because we already can't afford so much but I will give up everything I have for him to be better or feel better. Thanks Gea

I love these!
The adhesive is really good. It compares to the popular brands with velcro & plastic supports for emptying at a reduced price. I highly recommend, I had to put these on subscription to keep a supply of them. Very good especially if you are getting supplies out of pocket.

Way better than the two piece valve system.
Nobody gets excited about medical appliances, but MY WORD, these are pretty awesome. I was on the Hollister two piece system for nearly a year, and I can only call it a torture device. At a serious moment, though, I realized that I could not deal with bleeding rashes any longer. I took a chance on these.$1.68/bag as opposed to a contraption that was painful as hell, and cost nearly $13/bag.Nobody under the sun should endure what I did when there were alternatives. These give you plenty of warning if you are going to have a leak, you can put them in a pocket or a purse for a quick-change necessity, and they aren't heavy, pull and make your life miserable. The best part is that they are opaque and I don't have to see what I ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The velcro also eliminates the "doo-doo" clamp that no matter what you do, makes it seep.If you've had a colostomy, I suggest keeping some of these handy. Cut them yourself so they are always ready to go, and are descreet.

Good to have on-hand while getting things set up
I had a recent sugery which resulted in me having to wear a colostomy for the next 6 or so months. I came out of the hospital with a few bags they gave me and shortly after received a few samples from a manufacturer. I was given a list of manufacturers and distributors to research and decide on which types and from who to order from. This is a daunting task to say the least when you are fresh out of the hospital and have something new to figure out.Because I didn't want to end up not having supplies on hand I got on Amazon and came across these bags. Figured at least I would get something while I'm doing my research. And for the price wouldn't be worried about messing one up if I cut it wrong.Overall, I am happy with these bags as a backup. I've only worn 1 so far but it lasted for 4 days and I could probably have worn it a day or two more. I made sure my skin was cleaned well, used the adhesive remover, dried my skin with a warm hair dryer and used the skin barrier (again making sure the skin barrier was dry) before applying the appliance. My output was a bit runny at times and, although it never leaked out of the bag, the liquid did work its way through the first fold of the drain system. I also noticed a bit of the smell coming through about the 3rd day and I am pretty thorough about cleaning the inside portion of the drain after emptying. But I would say the odor resistance is sufficient especially if you change the bag more often maybe. The filter appeared to work ok. It doesn't allow the air to escape rapidly but eventually seemed to do so. I also like the outer adhesive tape strip it has, just for that extra feeling of confidence of the bag not coming loose. The "window" it has allows you to see how the bag fits around the stoma. This is good especially when you are still learning how to fit the cut-to-fit bags. The hook and loop closure seems to be adequate. I didn't feel like it would be easy for it to come undone.Compared to the Convatec bag I selected to use, I wouldn't say these bags are as confortable as the Convatec. The Convatec wafers seem to be a bit more pliable maybe and also a tad more comfortable. I also like the pocket the Convatec bags have to wrap up the drain system in. Makes the bag a bit smaller and provide just a bit more confidence about the bag not leaking.I know some reviews noted theirs didn't stick so well. But I didn't have that issue (with the only one I wore). I think I read another review where it tore their skin when being removed. But I also used the adhesive remove wipe as I was taking the bag off and didn't have any issue (slow and easy taking it off!). I will say the bag did stick pretty well though.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to get these bags as a backup system or something to use around the house to help save money on the more expensive bags. Plus, they wouldn't stop me from making errand runs or anything, especially if I recently changed the bag. I would just make sure everything is in place before leaving the house and making sure their is no odor.

Excellent product for the money!
Excellent product for the money. I was hesitant at first to venture outside of the Holister brands by reputation but after many failings of those company samples -I decided to order Lotfancy. The adhesive holds great (even though I put extra tape around to make sure) it is durable and the velcro ends make it easy to empty and burp when needed. The only con-if there is one- is that it could hold in the odor a little better -maybe with a better filter. Otherwise, these bags make an unfortunate and uncomfortable health situation liveable and affordable. I have bought them for almost a year. Definitely lifesavers!!
