Service to my barn
Easy connections. Good instructions. My barn is 60 ft from the house. The modem is in the basement of the house. The extender is hardwired to the peak of my garage. I now have service on all levels of my barn.

Worked as Advertised, for about 18 months
I installed this at our cabin to extend our signal out to our travel trailer, which is about 150 feet from our router. We have no mobile data out here so this enabled our guests to stream movies in the travel trailer, which wasn't possible previously. It worked great. I installed in on the outside wall of our cabin. After about 18 months, it just stopped working. No power indicator lights on the unit, but I can see power is getting to the small component that sits between the power and the antenna. For the price, and the fact that it claims to be outdoor-friendly, I expected it to last linger than it did. Not sure I'll replace with this product for this reason.

Pain to setup
It works with a mesh system. The setup is a pain. You'll want hold this in different spots before mounting it & test the strength of the signal. Also mount this up high as you can as wifi sinks. It's not worth the price you're paying. I mounted cameras 32 yards away & I'm only getting 20MB on speed. Also there is a 100MB limit on this so if you have 250MB or higher you will never see those speeds. I tried mounting it indoors & it didn't extend the range. It's also not waterproof as stated so mount it somewhere under an eve. Make sure you have a drip loop on the cable as well. Mount the power indoors as this can't be mounted outside.

Lackluster Performance Not Worth the Money
I purchased this in hopes of extending my Wi-Fi to a shop building about 200 feet from my router. The router sits inside my house. The instructions that come with the device are in English and describe how to assemble the device but when it comes to setting up the connection you should turn to the internet. I checked out a couple of videos that still left me in the dark until I came across one that also reviewed the device - and it was a terrible review. Not deterred, I decided to try it for myself.I threw caution to the wind and, once assembled, just plugged in the power cord in my office near my router. The setup actually popped up on my screen once I selected "Wireless-N" network and I was able to set the device up quickly as a repeater. Once I saw all this on screen, the instructions started to make some sense. And the thing worked. The lights lit and showed I had a full signal. I connected my phone to the device and did a speed test and it was impressive. I was hopeful! So I took it outside and plugged it in outside my metal barn just outside a window. As I expected it received far less signal from my router but still worked a bit (two bars lit). I was still hopeful. The speed test beside the device still gave me good mbps. Inside the barn, however, I had barely any signal except right inside the open door. None by the window. So I went back outside and walked around my yard some. The signal faded to almost nothing about 50 feet from the device.Next I moved the device just inside the window. It failed to receive almost any signal from the router in the house and what signal it provided only gave signal about half way across the garage (25 feet or so). The speed test gave me about 4mbps up.I finally arranged it in a place that would give me just enough signal to stream music and allow me to get on a computer with some buffering so I did get it working - barely.I was not expecting much and I will admit that my pole barn is an insulated metal building that probably acts somewhat as a faraday cage but the distance that this device will connect to anything is sorely exaggerated and was one of the issues that was mentioned on the U-Tuber's channel that actually got me to be able to hook it up. I am pretty disappointed and had I been able to get around to setting this up before my return window had expired, it would have gone back and I would have tried something else.I suggest you try something else too.
