My eye doctor did some research, and then recommended these because they are made in Alabama, and he said we can trust what's in them. Unlike those at the "big box store", you need only to take 1 per day. I have early signs of Macular Degeneration, and these have kept my eyes (so far) from losing any vision. Our optometrist strongly urged us to use this OTC medication a good many years ago. So far neither my wife or myself has developed macular degeneration as my sister-in-law did. She did not use this product but relied on prescription drugs.

Tasteless. This is one of the few supplements I've found with the recommended dose (according to NIH research) of essential nutrients for ARMD. My ARMD has stabilized, so I'm comfortable recommending this supplement. Of course, efficacy is very individual. I'm seeing my retinologist regularly, so I'm recommending that, too. :)

I order these for my husband. His doctor told him to use them and he has been using them for quit a while now. I guess they are helping because his eyes had not changed

I have used this previously and am very satisfied with it. However, it came by Prime and I do not want to subscribe to Prime. Let me know if this is a problem.

Still waiting for the long term improvements, or evidence of slowed macular degeneration, before I review this product.

Well, I wish I could say that I won't get Macular Degeneration with the use of this but I hopefully won't know for years to come. Other than that I'm religious in taking it all in hopes....
