U.S. Marines by MTech USA USA M-1023WD Folding Knife

I liked this one so much I bought another one for a friend of mine who was in the Marines. Shipping was fast. Arrived 3 days before shipping date. Received it in 2 days after ordering. Good solid, heavy knife. It was heavier than I had expected. It says, “stainless steel” and made in China on the box, which means that it is probably 440A steel. In the 440 series of steels 440A is the lowest, 440B is the middle, and 440C is the highest quality. According to one source, if it only says, “stainless steel” and nothing after it, it probably means 440A steel. Good material. I put a little gun oil on it to loosen it up and it flips very nicely. It cut paper with it right out of the box. Great “beat up” knife for the price. At this price, if it breaks you don’t have to worry about replacing a $200 knife. Very happy with customer service and product. You can't go wrong.

I just receive this gorgeous knife, I bought it for my boyfriend's upcoming birthday (4/24)It said that I would get the the 21st I was worry it would take longer and I wasn't going to give it to him that day but it came so quick ! The quality is good is bulky and heavy but i'm sure he will love it. The blade is extremely sharp so he's going to like that too. The only bad thing is that the black paint is sensitive and it came with few scratches but is tolerable.It also came with spare screws. Over all I revomend this knive from the seller Carlos collection !

Great Knife, solid feel. Wish it had a bottle opener where the seat belt cutter is. Thinking dual purpose there. Use it every day and sharpen it when needed. None of the emblems have fallen off either. Packaging is great, I kept it to store other items in.

Very good knife for its price.Phone is durable and heavy. It is NOT light pocket knife. Blade is thick. Aluminum metal strip for clipping outside of pocket or belt loop does bend when placed in a bind. Nothing unusual though for its size. There are 2 small star bits that can be used to remove and place it back in shape. I have dropped it multiple times on accident and it has NOT broken. It is a good conversation starter on breaking glass to get out of a wrecked car and cut seatbelt.

Absolute piece of flotsam. First, its all Marine licensed and you think you're getting something made in USA. Open the package its got good weight looks cool. The picture you see has all the "Licensed by the Marine" yada yada. Flip it over one word "CHINA" The little nob for breaking windows at the end just fell off somewhere. No idea where that went. Probably back to China.

I bought this knife for one reason (THE SPRING ASSIST). This knife barely had enough spring to release it from the handle. I have another one just like it that had a tiger striped blade. The spring assist on that one is awesome!!! I'm a Marine and received that knife from a Marine as a gift. So i bought this one thinking the spring assist would be the same... IT IS NOT! Could just be a few out of the bunch. I loosened the tiny star screw on the handle and put a little oil on thinking it would help the spring. Had to tighten srew back up. The oil did help the flip out wrist sling of the blade opening but my other MTECH Marine knife like this needs no flip of the wrist... It just springs open!! So i'm unhappy with the spring i got out of this knife but i can take it because it didnt break the bank... I can still flip it open with one hand and that is a plus in any situation! Price is very good for this knife. Keep in mind.. It is pretty heavy. It has a seatbelt cutter and a pointed glass breaker on the end. The blade is pretty sharp right out of the box. Its mostly just a conversation piece for me. I will probably very rarely use it.

Seems like a quality knife. I do think the handle area is much heavier than it should be. Nice design and little features (seat belt cutter, glass breaker). I do like the spring assist opening.
