ResolvePet Carpet Cleaner Powder, For Dirt Stain & Odor Removal

I have a light oatmeal colored carpet and this cleans better than any other cleaner I've tried. I have pets and there has never been a stain that this has not removed; even if it is dried and set in. I'm getting really nervous because it is getting harder and harder to find.

I purchase entirely too many cleaning products in an effort to keep up with my savage animals and SO- and this happens to be one of my staples. I don't have carpet in many areas, just my bedroom, but that small little patch I have that's available to foot and pet traffic takes a beating (don't even ask me how, it seems to defy the rules of physics, science, common sense, I just don't know). Anyways...I like the scent of this product and after use, always feel like my carpet/area rug are significantly cleaner (at least in appearance...in my mind, carpet is never clean, but that could just be a "me" problem).I use this product to both deep clean regular dirt and treat pet urine. I'm not sure if its the dog, cat 1, or cat 2, probably all 3 encouraging each other, but there are 2-3 spots that just...are too appealing for them to stay away from. I've tried every pet urine cleaner on the market. Hundreds of dollars worth, to be sure. (My cats are just jerks, that's the official veterinary diagnosis.) I still use them on occasion but find that this does an equally adequate job and is easier and more pleasant to use. Because it is both wet and a powder, it seems to absorb liquid and grab onto grime, but all gets picked up on vacuuming. I sprinkle it over my area rug and exposed carpet, rake it with some good elbow grease, and vacuum (generally with my vacuum set on it's highest suction setting- it's a workout but worth it).My only real gripe is that this powder doesn't go very far. I shake vigorously before use and keep the plastic divider on the top...and try to apply an evenly distributing dusting to rake in, but even with all those steps, I only get a few full cleanings out of a single 18 oz bottle. This could be in part because it is a wet powder and clumps a bit, but for four cleanings, I'd appreciate a lower price...or conversely, the product to go a bit further. It will still be in my regular rotation, but if I found it at a less expensive price point, I'd buy in bulk.

What the Amazon page failed to mention at the time of my purchase (and review) is that this product must be brushed into the carpet. So make sure you have a decent-sized brush that you can get a good hold on for scrubbing a floor. That said, you don't need to do terribly much work with the brush, but I wanted to warn everyone.This product does what it says it will do. I was a little confused about what "moist powder" meant exactly, and living in a near desert climate, I was concerned about whether or not the moisture included in the canister would be enough. It was. The powder is a bit damp, which becomes more noticeable as you break it up with the brush and work it into the carpet. Because it is not wet, it does not take very long to dry. However, it does need to be allowed to dry fully before vacuuming so that it will be picked up properly by your vacuum, and remove set-in dirt and odors.This isn't for spot stains so much as larger areas of carpet that need some extra love, like high-traffic pathways through the house. It cleans and removes dirt to brighten your carpet closer to what it once was. The powder probably won't go as far as you'd like it to, and using the whole canister could probably cover about a 6' x 6' area. The scent is not overpowering-- you can stay in the same room with it and not gag, and it removes odors from pets very nicely.At move out, I used it to clean the areas of my no-pet apartment that my dog (which I wasn't necessarily supposed to have) "loved" a little too much, which were also high-traffic areas. There were no stains, stinks, or clues that she had ever been there.I'd buy it again.

I have lived in this apartment for approximately 4.5 years, and the carpet is as cheap as you might expect. I also have a small dog. 'Nuff said. The carpet has taken a lot of abuse during that time, and it shows. I have tried more products than I care to admit, but none has been anywhere as amazing as this product.I wish I would have taken before pictures to show you the difference, but all I can tell you is that this stuff is amazing. I shook the product (as instructed), sprinkled it onto the bad areas, and I used a dry mop to rub it into the carpet (instead of a carpet brush so I didn't have to clean it on my hands and knees). I could see the dark spots literally lightening as I rubbed it in with the mop.After vacuuming, a huge wine stain that had been there for nearly a year was removed, and this was after no other product could remove it. It removed other, significant stains ranging from pet "accidents" to carpet that had turned grey from the ground-in dirt associated with dredged in rain and snow.The carpet now also has a neutral smell. Before is smelled like dog, and now it doesn't smell like anything. Perfect. I don't want the overpowering smell of carpet freshner chemicals to hit me as soon as I walk in the door, and I don't want to smell anything when I lay on the carpet. Now I don't have to smell either.Don't get me wrong. The carpet does not look like it is brand new, but it definitely looks years newer. Words cannot describe how impressed I am with this product. I am definitely going to keep this as a staple in my home.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!! Coming From a multiple dog owner this stuff is the only carpet cleaner I’ll ever buy from here on out. Works great on puppy accidents, when your old dog gets sick and has a mess in the house, the hard stains you’ve tried 101 thing on this stuff will get it out !

I bought it because it stated for pet and deep clean. Arrived as expected, smelled quite nice, so pleased with that but didn't clean as well as I hoped for despite using it twice in accordance with the diirections. No better than Vanish really and more expensive!
