Works great

Previous pestle was accidentally broken, so I ordered this one. It is a bit longer and heavier which I was looking for. Prefect!

I bought this as a replacement for a granite pestle from a Cole and Mason set that broke when it got flung to the floor as I spun around too fast to put my m&p away. I ground it around a few times in my mortar to get rid of any initial dust, and it's worked fine as a replacement. I wish the shape was a little more friendly to the human hand, but it works just fine. Definitely a more economical and less wasteful way to handle a broken pestle, especially if the brand you got your m&p set from doesn't sell replacements!

This product works wonders with crushing meds for our pets so they can be put in food. Also works well with herbs and spices and our human meds - it's quick work with the pestle.
