She never really do it before These puzzles are not terribly difficult and have non-conventional shapes and borders so it was a fun thing to throw into the mix of your standard puzzles. She also enjoyed the "surprise" at the end. She did all of Series One and Two. The quality of the pieces feel solid, but it's still cardboard at the end of the day. Sturdy for cardboard, but of course can't compare to solid wood puzzles. I bought a single one first (The Mystic Maze), and then I went back and bought multiple 3-packs. To increase the difficulty, we like to do it without looking at the posters that are included, which provide the preliminary image. It's really fun to...well, to puzzle your way through what exactly is happening as you piece it together. Many of the shapes are unique. You might have a fish in a piece shaped like a fish, etc. That also adds a dimension of challenge. There are stickers (unrelated to the puzzle, but still included), a scavenger hunt once the puzzle is assembled, and two posters of the image to help you with the assembly. The box has a place inside to mark who did it and when; have you ever heard of a puzzle company that encourages you to share rather than buy a new one? We would love to see more from this company but with a different twist.
