iSi 10-Pack Soda Chargers, Gold

At first i was skeptical it would fit to my soda maker bcoz i bought my the soda maker in japan. Thankfully, it worked well even if its a little shorter than the original cartrdge i use.

Despite these Isi carbon dioxide cartridges are expensive I would never buy another product for my ISI Seltz water siphon. Before making your choice I recommend you read other reviewers points of view; in effect there are many brands on the market, but unfortunately despite their product look the same and seem to contain the same amount of gas, it turns out that some are better than others. I would avoid the ones from China as Ihave read many complains about the quality and quantity of gas there is inside. Having to use 2 cartridges instead of one to fill a 1 liter soda siphon is exaggerated according to me. It seems that at least the ISI cartridges are still filled in Europe and that the law and company values are strict enough to maintain a certain quality level. As a student, I wish there was a similar product made in the USA with the same quality and a more attractive price.

They work well for what they are, CO2 cartridges. Don’t know if there is such a thing as food-quality CO2 as I use these to make club soda. I pay the premium price until someone shows me the cheap pellet gun CO2 cartridges are the same. Update: Someone once said if you are paying $3 for your bottle of SmartWater, it’s not working. Well, I’m still paying $.93 per cartridge for carbon dioxide. I’m not happy about it. Each cartridge makes 1-qt of fizz water, about 4 8-oz glasses. I think our daughter-in-law has the right idea: she has a Soda Stream machine. Much more efficient. And, the large cartridges can be recycled.

Takes a couple tries to get it right, but be patient if you’re struggling. I probably wasted 5-6 before I figured it out so I never used it. But now I always get it right, no more waste, and I love my iSi Soda makes thing. The tricks I’ve found that work are using cold water- I actually use a cocktail shaker to chill the water. Fill it up until it overflows a bit. Tighten the top pretty good before you put the charger in, but you don’t have to get crazy Hulk on it. Put the charger thing in the cap thing before you connect the charger. Shake it up really good before you pour your water every time and keep it in the fridge. The colder the water, the better it works. I buy tonic syrup for cocktails and this is perfect for a not too sweet G&T

These iSi soda chargers are great!!! This is one of those odd things I get excited about, but it's because these are a great value! Once you have the soda siphon, using these soda chargers saves tons on sparkling water, which we drink a lot of! They work great and arrive pretty quickly!

We ordered ten of these to ship at one time as recommended by another reviewer. Somehow (and I am still not certain how), they went to the wrong address -- an old address hundreds of miles from our current home. THEY CAN NOT BE RESHIPPED. That too is slightly hard to explain: these little chargers count as "hazardous materials" and although they can be sent TO you, they can not be returned, even if they go to the wrong address. So please, do not make our mistake! Not only do you need to check the shipping address when you start the order, you need to check the shipping address AGAIN if you make any changes (even payment method: I think that is what went wrong, I changed payment methods during checkout and it seems to have reverted to an old address). Aside from that, these are the gold standard in chargers... just be very, very, very careful with that shipping address, because it's strictly a one-way trip.

There are not gold colored (the canisters are silver colored) however these fit the ICO Professional Soda Siphon and that is what mattered. What was unusual was that the seller shipped these in a cardboard box padded envelope and the box broke so all the little canisters were rolling around like the oxygen tank scene on the deck of the boat from the movie "Jaws". They work just fine and when I reorder I will certainly order this product - but perhaps not from the seller.

Superb value. A scotch and soda is like the proverbial 'horse and carriage', only easier to keep.

This is horrendous. We paid 53SGD for a box of 10 units where we thought it was for 10 boxes of 10 units each. This is more than 4 times the normal price. And of course because it is gas we cant return it...

All Positiv, as it simply does what it should do.
