I use this licorice powder in a mix with a couple other herbs (milk thistle, alfalfa and rhumannia) that are gag worthy. This makes them surprisingly palatable and gives a nice energy boost, not an instant shot but a gentle boost that lasts. Be aware that any licorice root will lower potassium, so although it helps with energy you should take potassium with it or the lower potassium can elevate blood pressure. I add powdered potassium to the licorice root and eat high potassium foods to balance it out.

I am interested on buying this product but the one a returned had only 30 days before expiration, I bought one on 2019 and it had the same code date, I still have some left over, but I was going to buy it for a family member, how do I know if I am getting a bottle with enough time to consume it personally? In my opinion 30 days are not enough to consume one pound of licorice powder.

Yummy licorice. I use it in smoothies and that is all I've tried it in, but it gives my smoothies a really nice subtle licorice flavor that is very satisfying. And it's lasting a long time. Good value

I've only been using this product for a week and so far I've been happy with it. I also like that it is in a plastic container with a screw on lid; unlike the "zip-lock" bag used by other manufactuers which is tough to get to seal and the powdery product flies everywhere, somewhat.

Shortly after I turned forty I started having acne and nothing I cleaned my face with seemed help. Desperatly I tried to dry my face with alcohol to avoid new outbreakes. The nightmare is now over and only for days after I started taking it. It is my third week and still no outbreaks, and I only clean my face now with hazel water. I hope this review helps someone, I war with acne is won, thank you for great product.Update after a few weeks: I developed very high blood pressure. I usually have very low blood pressure. Licorice is probably the reason behind so sudden and unexpected raise in my blood pressure.04/24/2020 I was taking the licorice while my husband was sick with coronavirus. Every time I forgot to take licorice weird things were happening to me, like coughing, blood cloth and fewer. Now I am taking it now twice a day and I almost came back to normal, I am little congested that is all ! The licorice conquered the coronavirus!

Fraudulent and dishonest company! I wrote multiple emails asking whether the product contains other unlisted ingredients. Each time there was an excuse as to why they refused to answer. 110K in hospital bill later, I pray someone sends this product to a lab to determine what bacteria or toxic ingredients or additives are in it.

I bought this to sweeten things like the pumpkin mixture to mix into lattes. There is a slight licorice aftertaste that I like. Love that I can keep drinking my homemade pumpkin lattes without the sugar.
