Healthy hands, but unhealthy wallet.
Crabtree & Evelyn is a trusted brand which demands a premium price, and I think that is based on years of producing great quality products and this one is no different. The cream is quite thick but once applied it felt nice and light, and absorbed well without leaving a greasy residue. The scent of the cream was more subtle than I was expecting; I could detect the apple which was referenced in the product description but not a lot else. I would describe the fragrance as fresh rather than fruity, but that is no bad thing. My slightly dry hands felt well nourished after I used the cream a couple of times and it didn’t agitate or aggravate my sensitive skin. However, the small size of the product (25ml) means it wouldn’t last long with hands that were particularly weather beaten and cracked, as mine tend to get in the winter. The premium price (£9) for such a dinky (25ml) tube is excessive; that’s the equivalent of £36 per 100ml. In comparison, you can get an equally good result from a L'Occitane or Body Shop hand cream, but at half the price, which makes it difficult to justify the cost. But if money is no object and you like the Crabtree & Evelyn brand, you can’t go far wrong with this product.

Not great for overly dry hands !
Crabtree renew and replenish hand cream.A lovely smelling hand cream which did moisturise my hands, but the issue I had was that I found that the feeling of softness does not last long enough so I have found myself constantly topping up. At this rate in less than a week I have used over half the tube which for me is not cost effective as each tube costs £9.00I do have extremely dry skin so it’s not to say that you would have the same experience as me.I’d recommend trying it if you don’t suffer from really dry skin as I’d say it’s not suitable if that’s the case. But if you don’t have overly dry skin I’d say try before you make judgement as it is a very nice hand cream.I’ve given 3 stars as although lovely smelling it didn’t work for me.If you found this review helpfulclick below. Smells incredible but not a particularly intensive handcream
This is a tiny 25ml tube of hand cream that is rather pricey at £9. On the positive side it smells absolutely fantastic (maybe the nicest scent I've ever come across in a hand cream, and one that lasts) and is a light, non greasy formula that works easily into the skin. It does soften mildly dry hands but it is not a particularly intensive hand cream meaning that for very dry and chapped skin it isn't hugely effective. It therefore takes quite a liberal application on very dry skin to really provide nourishment, which means the tube will not last long at all. As a general day to day moisturiser it is fine, albeit rather pricey, but I expected a more intensive formula for combatting really dry skin which this doesn't really deliver on.

Non-greasy nourishing hand cream with divine scent...
This has a fresh, luxurious scent that reminds me of crunchy green apples and botanical gardens; it’s not overtly fruity or flowery and the combination feels really unique and unusual and I love that. The cream has a nice consistency that’s thick but not heavy or greasy, so it feels like it’s nourishing the skin. The cream is so gentle that it doesn’t sting or irritate my skin despite having very dry, cracked areas around the knuckles; this really says something to me about the quality of the formulation.I love this hand cream, it’s made my skin feel softer and the dry skin more comfortable. Plus there’s just something very appealing about the scent, which I know is going to be subjective and you might not like the fragrance. I can see why they’ve labelled it gender-neutral though as it’s not too feminine/flowery and could definitely be used by men. Crabtree & Evelyn also have a rose hand cream which has a sweet, sophisticated and more feminine scent if that’s what you’re after; it’s just as good in terms of effectiveness in my opinion.

Not worth the price, but a very nice smelling product, although it's not that efficient.
C&E is a brand that I expect to be rather overpriced (a bit stupid, as they're doing themselves a disservice and are struggling, as if stuff is this expensive, they're limiting their client base) but this takes the biscuit. This is 25g of cream for just under a tenner. I can get three times that from Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour cream that really does what it says on the tin. This, barely 10 minutes after using, feels as if I washed my hands with a quality cleanser with some moisturising properties, but I need to reapply.Scent wise, it's a little generic, a little herbal, but I can't smell the apple that the blurb goes on about. It's a handbag-size item that I am happy to have, but not one that I would or could buy on my Jane Average budget.
