Get them!
Ok, let me start by saying "no" you won't get massive bass (nor mid-bass for that matter) but that's cuz they are midrange speakers it says so right on the box. But, if you set them up correctly you will get awsome sound from these speakers.I have mine running parallel with the Pioneer Pro tweeters off an Alpine amp at 100w rms and they are loud AF! They came in at 130db on my Epicenter in-dash. Now that is loud and the sound these speakers put out is clean and clear. I'm now have the loudest system on my block something I've been trying to achieve for years. These are zero cons only pros for these speakers. I kid you not if you get these you will not be disappointed.

Buy Buy Buy!
Its a replacement for a Morel pair that i used to listen the last 15 years!I really like it, its a big piece, i had to do some adjustments on my nissan jukes doors for fitting those in.They produce that V shape equalizer that i like to listen...I cut to let them play 100hz and above because i have a subwoofer. They can absolutely play bass too, but if you own a subwoofer you better let them scream instead of rattling bass while squealing vocals. They get 110rms each on my setup. Love it!Although if i were living in the us id buy the premium pioneer component for 300$, yet, those are an awesome bargain!!

Perfect fit on my rear doors of my 04 4Runner.
Awesome mid drivers. The magnets are huge!! Didn’t think it was going to be this big from the reviews, it’s almost the size of the speakers itself and much bigger than my previous speakers. I was worried it would take adapter spacers to fit my car doors. To my dismay, they fit the rear doors perfectly. I also bought the metra door adapter so install was a breeze. Hooked up to my amp and they sound amazing. The clearity of these speakers is outstanding. I’m glad I went with these. Great product! Side by side comparison to the Orion cobalt mid range speakers.

Does not come with the mounting brackets and ...
Note that they DO NOT come with the mounting brackets and they are also super heavy so I wont necessarily trust them with the plastic mounting brackets that are sold here and elsewhere. . the Diameter is a tad smaller than 6.75 inch which is a relatively hard to find size (at least as far as mounting hardware for Nissan Murano goes) so the mounting bracket choices are even fewer. They need an unusually generous space (more than 3 inches) behind them to be mounted and other than on Big SUV's chances are that they are not gonna fit easily. they barely fit in my SUV using a bracket that raises them 0.5 inch. They have relatively high sensitivity so they run pretty loud with 15 to 20 watts but they do scale well quality wise when properly amped. Honestly I expected exceptional sound and I didn't get it. they sound pretty open and detailed which is nice. there are better all rounders available for cheaper though. I feel a tad disappointed and decided to return them.I installed them in my 2005 Nissan Murano with Bose sound system. considering the competition I do not recommend. you can make a nice sound system out of them though. you just have to take the time, spend the dough, and also know what you are doing.

Need a concert but your on a budget?
When these puppies are powered up, you will likely be the loudest thing in the neighborhood or two. I have mine hooked up to a Pioneer GM-A5602 Amp via Knuconceptz 4 guage Amp Kit and it rocks the house. Be prepared for a little customization as these speakers a wider and deeper than most factory door speakers, you will probably need spacers of some sort. I have tried just about every genre of music to put them through the test, except for country. Hip-hop, techno, and dubstep sounds great at low levels however they're no replacement for subs. If you configure your stereo to reduce the base and increase the HPF to 80-100Hz this can make you go deaf quickly, but it sounds amazing! To really round out these speakers complete your set up with quality tweeters and subs! Need any more than this, then you probably need competition grade equipment.

Very heavy and Build like a tank
These thing are a monster. Very heavy and build like a tank for such a small speaker. These should be classified as sub. Lol. Haven't hook it up yet, waiting for my amp.*UPDATE*Just took off my door panels to have it fabricate to fit 2 of these and 1 Pioneer TS-B350pro super tweet. Will post up picture when finish.I will be powering these with a Sundown Audio SAX100.4 @ 2ohmUpdate: 05/29/2015Ive hook these babies up to my Sundown SAX100.4 and I can't believe my ears. They sound amazing. Mid-bass and vocal is thereI love it. Paired them with 2x pioneer pro350 tweeters, and a set if pioneer 6.75 components (TS-d1720c) and I'm just blown away.

I recommend placing them in three way system
These speakers are an absolute midrange. I recommend placing them in three way system. The speakers are not very bass so they just need support midbass. If you think that your subwoofer is able to compensate for the bass, then this is not correct. Without midbass no bass. With proper design of car audio needs ie punch front midbass. So put in a two way system, these speakers I do not recommend. It is very loud speakers but they have no bass. So do not look at the parameters of what is written on 50Hz is not true. I think the real range of speakers begins somewhere from 150-200 Hz. But overall this is a very good mid-loud.

Love the sound but be aware that they're bigger than your average door speaker
I gave it a 5 because I loved the sound quality but they were too big for the bracket I had. I love pioneer and wanted to do pioneer everything but these speakers are beefy. If you have the ability to do some modifications, you'll love them. I wish I did so I could've kept them.
