I'm not allergic to anything and generally am not very sensitive. I really wanted to like this product as I am a fan and reader of the book series Anastasia of the Ringing Cedars. But I put this on my arm and it started stinging. My neck is also stinging. I tried to wash it off but it's still stinging. Ouch!

I expect to have a stiff back and maybe a stiff knee because I have one knee that was injured previously and gets sore occasionally. In that same, I injured my thumb joint, which has caused repetitive soreness (arth. If I spell it out, the filter blocks it). Hence, this order.In preparation, I tested a small patch on my upper leg as per the instructions. I didn’t have a reaction to it, which goes to show that it really is dependent on your body because I have sensitive skin. I can’t even use facial products like toner and moisturizer without first using a special cream or I get hives. Most of the time, I still get hives, even with the cream.After testing on my upper leg, I used it on my hand-the one with the sore thumb. No reaction there either. This product is one that a few people in other reviews have noted having reactions to. That likely means there is not a way to tell if you will have a reaction to it without trying it. Luckily, it’s not that expensive.Since I didn’t have a reaction, I decided to test it out on my full knee. The one that occasionally gives me trouble. I used it mid-day on a cold day, and I knew I’d be spending a lot of time outdoors in the afternoon. I can honestly say, this really helped. My knee didn’t get stiff or sore all day, nor did it that night. I can also say, it helped ease the ache in my thumb joint.The product does smell like menthol, but it’s not strong at all, like the popular brands are, and it’s easy to rub in. It feels silk. I advise washing your hands thoroughly after rubbing it in, so that you don’t accidentally rub any into your eyes or on your face. That’s not something you’d want to risk. Aside from that, I really like it. I'm removing one star only due to the fact that people need to take into account they could have a reaction to this.

I should have read the instructions, my skin reacted negatively. Love the tea, the cream is not for me. Easy to return, thanks Amazon!

Used it on my back. It tingled a bit and then helped with lower back pain. HOWEVER, tonight I used it on my jaw joint. I have lock jaw and the joint hurt, so I put it on the cheek/neck/jaw. It started to tingle. Then burn. Then got pink. Felt same as if I rubbed spicy hot pepper all over my skin. Not all have this reaction but you should test a small patch of skin first to make sure
