Easy to use but read the fine print because the servos are TINY
This kit makes it easy to use the Raspberry Pi to control servos. It can control up to six servos -- though the kit only comes with two. The servos in the kit are good for demonstration purposes, but since they only have a 9-gram capacity, for serious applications, you will need beefier servos. The wiring instructions are on the internet. They are clear, but you must have internet access to get at them. I did not use the programming examples contained on their internet site, so I don't know if these instructions work. If you need to control servos with the pi, you cannot go wrong by buying this kit -- as long as you are willing to buy bigger servos to use in real-world applications.

This is a great way to easily power all the servos from one ...
Worked as expected. This is a great way to easily power all the servos from one source and helps clean up the wires. The only problem I found was one of the two servos I got wouldn't turn more than 10 degrees. I had previously read reviews on these servos where users mentioned this problem and that the issue was a piece of metal stuck in the gears. I opened it up and sure enough a very small piece of metal was in the gear. I cleaned it out and it worked as expected. I can't really deduct a star for this, since the servos are authentic from the manufacturer. It is probably an issue with TowerPros QA.

I figured out how to use the board just fine without the template
Worked perfectly. The only bump I had was that the pin template didn't fit my Pi, but it turns out that's because I have an old model and the rest of the world has moved on. Linda at Monk Makes promised to send me one of the older templates as soon as the MM crew is back in the office. (With a little more investigation, I figured out how to use the board just fine without the template, but it'll probably be nice to have when it arrives.)

Works as expected. Accurate and appears to be built well
Worked great with Raspberry Pi. I was able to create a set up quickly to repeatedly perform an operation on another device using this kit. I can imagine countless other projects, but such little time.

Five Stars
Servo kit from Monk Makes at a good price is good because buying them separately could cost more.

Good quality components and helpful website
Great little kit for a newbie to the pi like me, easy to follow instructions on their website to get you up and running fast. The components look and feel good quality. I had one small problem but Linda was really quick to sort it out for me. Highly recommended.

How to win a hackday.
Very first pi project - built a machine to determine if something was the correct corporate colour, and raised a little flag for success.... Marketing department successfully trolled.Servo kit was super easy to use, and worked a charm, even for a complete novice like me.

Very pleased with this purchase
Quick arrival. The board is simple to set-up and works on both PI2 and 3. I find that using re-chargable batteries last a lot longer. Very pleased with this purchase.

Brilliant Servo starter kit
Really cool and handy for someone getting into servos as it comes with the code and wiring instructions. They responded very promptly to a question I had and was happy to help. Would definitely buy their other kits.

Another good product from Monk Makes!
Usual high standard of bits for this kit from Monk Makes. Put the servos into a camera pan and tilt mount, fitted fine. Would buy again.
