I bought this after I got the 1966 batmobile from Hobby Lobby. After building the 1966, I was so impressed with the quality and detail given of it I decided to purchase the pre built version of the 1989 Batmobile and boy I was not disappointed. The workmanship and accuracy was incredible. I love the added features Jada added to this replica. The canapy slides open just like on the movie. The interior is well detailed and helps to bring the replica to life. I love how Jada made the machine guns visible by just rolling over to expose them. Then you have the option to raise engine hood on the back of the Batmobile. The detail goes beyond what other companies supply. I must give 1 warning about this unit. This is not a toy. It is meant for a serious Batmobile collector. A child will run it into the ground. This is not a toy it is a carefully crafted replica of the 1989 Batmobile. I hope in the future I will be able to purchase another of Jada line of the Batmobiles. You really can't go wrong buying a Jada reproduction of any of their Batmobiles. End of line

Great item for Batman collectors!
This replica of the Batmobile from the 1989 Batman film is an excellent item for any Batman collector! Made from die-cast metal, and measuring around 8.5" in length, I have zero complaints about this item.It is very durable, moves smoothly, and has a good weight to it. The Batman figure that comes with it is also made out of die-cast metal, except for the cape and cowl, which are plastic. Stands around 2.5" tall. He does not bend to fit in the vehicle, but this Batmobile and figure are really meant for display purposes anyway. Looks great standing outside of the vehicle!The vehicle itself has a canopy that opens to reveal the interior. Not incredibly detailed due to the size, but still nice. The machine guns on the top can be concealed or revealed by merely flipping them open or closed, and the trunk above the fire exhaust opens as well, which is great. For what you're getting, this Batmobile has quite a few nice features to it!If you're a Batman collector, I don't think there's any way you can't love this item. Very nice!

This thing rocks!!!
They did a great job. It's heavy, well made, detailed with the .50cal M-2s hidden in the front of the vehicle, and the canopy opens. I would 100% recommend.
