Q: Would this mailbox mount/look ok on a 4 by 4 post? Thx for any replies :)

The mailbox mounts perfectly on a 4x4 post. Included in the box are 4 lag bolts which you use to install the mailbox to the 4x4 using pre-drilled holes in the floor of the box, then the floor cover goes over everything to keep moisture and debris from the mail.

Q: DOES IT COME WITH FAST TRACK MOUNTING SYSTEM?

Hi Pete, Just saw this one in my email. No, it does not come with the fast track mounting system! I had to go to the hardware store, buy mounting materials, cut , drill , paint and install a bracket so I could inatall this mailbox. Each situation is different, but I spent almost $45.00 and three hours to get the parts and install them properly. If I had this to do again, I would have purchased the bigger model that came with the fast mounting system. Ed

Q: Is there any problem with receiving and mailing back DVDs from Netflix. The envelope size is 8.25" x 6" and the DVD is 5"in diameter.

The outgoing mail clip is JUST large enough to accommodate a netflix DVD. Incoming is no problem.

When the mail lands in the 7506, it tends to land in the front of the box. There is plenty of space towards the back for mail the pileup if you do not go to your mailbox for a few days. The larger space on the 7106 looks like it could take a few more days worth. I doubt if it could take larger packages any better than the 7506 because the mail slot where the postman puts in your mail is both small and the same size for both models. To net it out: Go for the 7106 at a higher price if you expect to not pick up your mail for as long as a week.
