Q: does the fans change color?

Yes they do, and there’s different color changing schemes aswell

Q: How many fans are recommended

It came with 3 Fans, 2 large in front and one in the rear. I think they would be enough for most use cases, however I bought a three pack of white fans to match the case and replaced the back one at the rear and put the other two on top as exhaust. The two upfront are intake and the other 3 I use as exhaust. I have really good temps.

Q: Can 120mm fans fit in the front of the case?

Yes, the front of the case has spots that will fit 120, 140, or the 200mm ones that come with it. Honestly the 200mm ones work well though.

Q: Can I control the fans with my motherboard?

Only if you plug directly into the mobo. If using the controller included with the case you will not be able to control your fans individually. I use the controller for the rgb but plug fans into the mobo to control their speeds.
