Better than expected
This stand is solid and has a nice weighted base. I used my JLab Talk microphone with this stand and it works great, very adjustable. I prefer the tabletop mic stand instead of a mic arm that attached to the edge of the table/desk. Great price.

Excellent design and well-made!
I'm improving my Zooming setup and wanted to utilize my AT2020 mic. So I bought an M-Audio M-Track Duo interface from Amazon, but needed a good mic stand. I checked the measurements on this Innogear desktop stand and thought it would be just the right height and would get this side-address mic where I wanted it. Of course it would also work with my Shure SM58 mic if I decide to try that too. It extends out just the right amount to get it up close to my mouth when sitting well back from my webcam which is what I prefer. It doesn't feel too tippy even all the way out. All the adjustments feel solid and well-built. I also like the nice thin foam padding on the bottom that dampens some vibrations I was getting from my computer fans and makes it slide around on my desk easily without scratching. I recommend this product as a fantastic value for the price!

It's bigger than it looks, but solid as a rock
It's a nice desk mic, but the boom is a little longer than I expected. It's professional-grade and made of very sturdy materials. I don't see much of a use for the counterweight unless you've got a super heavy mic or need the boom to stick out super far. It's so big it's almost meant for standing at a desk or podium perhaps.Update:It's been a couple of months since I've had this, and I've noticed a bubble on the black paint/coating. I thought it was dirt at first, so I scraped it off and the paint came off. I found it rusty underneath. It's still sturdy as hell, but I'm confused about where this rust came from. I've never gotten it wet. There's a rusty brown spot on the boom arm now. Just wondering what type of metal this is made out of and how easily it corodes. Guess you could call it a small defect in the product technically, but it doesn't change functionality at all..

Works great!
I try to do my Zoom and Teams meeting audience a favor and use a higher-quality microphone than the one on my webcam, but I don't want to use a headset. So a USB mic held up by this desktop stand does the trick. The counterweighted boom is very stable. I could be wrong, but I don't think this unit came with a 3/8"-to-5/8" microphone clip adapter, so be sure to have one handy if you are mounting a microphone to this unit's 3/8" stud. I am happy with this product.
