Anything I can do?** A: Check your lamp; it could be defective, So far I have not had any issues with these and I only use these and on two different cages. **Q: Can this lamp sit on a screen?** A: I put it on the screen doesn't get too hot I use 75 watt **Q: At 18" above what temp would this get the basking spot? I don't want it to get above 90?** A: I have 75W lamp. It is about 17" above basking rocks.
